We absolutely love this beach house, it was our second visit and was just impressed as last year. The location is stunning and so easy to go to the beach, literally a minute walk through a private walkway. We hired bikes again and thoroughly enjoyed cycling to the local restaurants, Pops Sunset Grill is fabulous, and so is Pelican Alley, and also the local North Jetty where there is a national park. This beach house is great for fishing or just enjoying a relaxing time, either in the pool or on the top decks watching the boats leave the jetty. The house as everything you need, and is clean and well equipped. Had a few hic cups due to the hurricane but the locals were so friendly and the power was soon back on, Christine was so lovely and made sure everything was ok. Thank you again Christine for sharing your beautiful home, we will be back next August for definite…..
This place has it all! Great pool and tub or the short walk to the beach to collect sharks teeth. Perfectly set up for large families with room to find your own space. You can fish from the dock or soak in the rays from one of many decks. Kitchen is well furnished with lots of room for family meals. Owners are great to work with and true quality operation.
We actually stayed at this property June 2013, but the calendar did not go back that far.
Casey Key Beach House is an awesome property. There is plenty of room for adults and children. The pool was great. The walk to the beach was about a minute (I am not kidding!!!)
Initial plans were for 6 adults and 2 children (ages 2 and 11). Our son and his wife were not able to join us, but we did bring their 11 year old daughter. There was plenty of room.
What set this house apart for us was the location and pool. I wanted something that was easily within walking distance to the beach. The beach is awesome...lots of shells and some sharks teeth. At times it seemed we had the beach to ourselves. The sea turtles were nesting so we were very careful not to disturb them.
We spent most days at the beach. The house had a couple of beach umbrellas and plenty of beach chairs for our use. They had lots of beach toys for the kids as well. We were able to go back to the house for lunch and not have to "drag" everything with us. The downstairs (outside) bathroom was great. No need to track sand into the house.
I am an early riser and it was fun to watch the boat ramp from the large patio/balcony on the back of the house. It was also fun to watch the boats come back in later in the day.
We grilled most evening and the kitchen was nice to cook in and had everything I needed to prepare meals. We did go to Pop's Sunset Grill for dinner a couple of times. We could have walked there but we didn't. We went to Casey Keys Fish House one time for dinner, too.
The house was exactly as it looked on the website. The owners were great to work with. No problems there.
I fell in love with Casey Key...and the Beach House.
LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! AMENITIES! AMENITIES! AMENITIES! We, ages 9 to 72, went to celebrate our family and 50th anniversary. AND WHAT A CELEBRATION IT WAS! I just wish I could show you pictures. Views galore, a hop, skip and a jump from a beach full of sharks teeth & beautiful shells, fishing from the dock and main floor deck, playing in the pool.
My family, husband, son, daughter in law, granddaughter, daughter, son in law, grandson, stayed here for a week. What a beautiful house. My son arrived first, called me and said, "Mom you won't believe this place. It's gorgeous." I knew we were in for something good, he just doesn't say things like that! The place was everything that was advertised. Plenty of room for all of us, and for the grandkids to play. The boys enjoyed kayaking behind the house. We grilled for dinner a few times, and enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the pool. The beach being so close and so very nice was great. The area around the house was private and quiet, but yet close to shopping. Everyone was great to work with and it all went very smoothly. Thanks, Christina, we had a great time!
Our group was 5 adults and 6 children. Two of the adults are in their 70's, so the elevator was an absolute must have.
The home is in amazing condition and everything was clean and orderly. In fact, I can't think of a single thing we didn't have. It was just as comfortable and convenient as being at my own house.
This was the first time I've ever stayed across the street, rather than on the beach, but it worked out perfectly. The walk to the beach is just as close as what a lot of people deal with at larger condos in areas like Fort Myers and Siesta Key. It's even possible that our walk was shorter than theirs would be.
All said, this place was perfect for us and the kids absolutely loved the pool and hot tub.
Christine is very responsive to any needs and is easy to get a hold of while you're staying in this home.
Property is within 2 hours of Disney properties, Universal Studios and Busch Gardens
