Although originally from Oregon and North Carolina, we have resided in Las Vegas for the past 20 years. The best way to beat the heat is to come up to Brian Head! We have always enjoyed this area of So. Utah as a four seasons getaway, and loved the fact that it is only three hours from Las Vegas. The cool fresh air in spring and summer can't be beat, fall colors are gorgeous, and this is home to the best snow on earth!
Brett Heine purchased this condo in 2014
We chose this property because of its proximity to both the Navajo and Giant Steps base lodges of the Brian Head Ski Resort. We also enjoy the unique shape and style of the building and how it is nestled on the edge of the forest. We love hiking, mountain biking, fishing, skiing and snowboarding, and this property is a great home base from which to do it all!
The open floor plan of this first floor condo makes it very spacious and we love the easy access off of the back deck on the forest side. There is nothing like sipping morning coffee and watching the chipmunks play! The gorgeous slate fireplace gives the home a very cozy feel and is a beautiful focal point. Having an underground heated garage with storage space for skis, boards, and bikes is a bonus. The close proximity of the condo to so many national parks and monuments is also a huge plus.
Thanks to Brett Heine and family for the very pleasant staying at their condo.
Very clean, modern , king size bed, dishes etc has good taste!
We feel like home!
We would be happy to return for another vacation there!
Extremely clean, kitchen with all utensils, very quiet. Owner responded to all my queries very promptly.
A nice community and a well kept and organized condo that has all the necessities! Loved the price and location. Feel safe and comfortable! I highly recommend this property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo. The place is very clean, nicely updated and had everything that we needed readily available. This property is within walking distance to all the summer action in Brian Head and has so many fun things to do and see close by. We enjoyed the ATV trails, horseback riding and a day at Panguitch Lake. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us and we look forward to staying here again.
We have stayed in Brian Head many times, in many different condos. This was our first say in this condo and it is by far our favorite! We have stayed in other condos in the same complex so were very aware and appreciative of the upgrades/updates that have been done to this one! We stayed in for all of our meals. The condo is very well stocked with anything you might need and very clean. The king size bed is wonderfully comfortable! The view out the french doors in the living room is of the hill size. There was a strangely large number of humming birds all over the hillside the days we were there, which was really fun since there is a hummingbird feeder on the deck they frequented. Brett was really responsive and so great to work with. The only thing we would have changed about our stay would have been more time to just relax and enjoy!!! Thanks Brett for providing such a great place and for being so great to work with! Can't wait to come back!
My family and friends visit Brian Head several times a year always booking properties through Home Away. We have our favorites, so it is rare that I get an opportunity to try a new place. My husband and I decided to go on a last-minute, weekend getaway in April, so after reading the reviews and viewing pictures of Brett's property we decided to reserve. We used the "Book Now" feature and had a response confirming our reservation from Brett within a few hours. In addition, we were also provided information about check-in/check-out and other property amenities. I had a question in regards to this information and received a prompt reply. Upon arriving at the property, we discovered that we were the only family in the complex; however, the driveway was cleared and entrance to the garage was easy. As others noted, the parking spot was very tight (barely had room for my Subaru Outback), but the entry directions provided by Brett made it easier to enter. When we entered to the building we noted that the property was dated; however, clean and welcoming. Motion detector lights turned on at our entrance, as well as fire in the lobby fireplace. Walking to the condo entrance, I was a bit nervous about if the dated look would carry into the condo but was pleasantly surprised. Brett has done an amazing job at updating the condo itself. Between the floors, colors, and lighting, he has created a modern feel. The layout of the condo was perfect for our family of three allowing us to spend qualify time together, yet having a space for naps and quiet time. We cooked a few meals here, and I was pleasantly surprised about the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Typically when staying at similar properties, I make sure to rinse out any dish, utensil, etc. that I use. Everything in this kitchen was in pristine condition (my husband joked that we my have been the first ones to use the kitchen). I did not have to spend time rifling through all the cupboards and drawers looking for what I needed as everything was very well laid out and organized. The rest of the condo was the same - spotless and organized. From the entertainment center to the beds and linens there was organization. The step by step directions were extremely helpful along with the welcome binder. Brett definitely leaves no question unanswered. Being frequent Home Away users, we have had many different experiences in many different properties; but this by far has been our most pleasant. Thank you!
