The Property lies within the beautifully tended gardens and walkways of the Old Village. The townhouse style property offers a ground floor, comprising entrance with W.C., spacious living room with three 3 seater sofas and a dining area for 10 and a separate well equipped kitchen.

The living area has TV, which receives satellite as well as a DVD & CD player. There are large patio doors that open to a terrace and table & chairs.

The first floor comprises three double bedrooms (all twin). There is one en-suite bathroom and the other two rooms share a second bathroom.

The next floor comprises two further twin bedrooms and a bathroom. There is also a small sitting room with futon sofa/bed (suitable for a child). This area also has a small kitchenette with microwave, sink and tea/coffee making facilities.

The large roof terrace has stunning view of the ocean, golf & Vilamoura. There is a BBQ, fridge & table and chairs for dining.

The Old Village: CAN BE USED WITH PROPERTY NO. 51065 OR PROPERTY NO. 69670 TO SLEEP 16, 20 OR 26.

If you did not want to hire a car on your holiday you would not miss out on anything that you would expect from a great holiday. The Old Village complex offers three beautiful swimming pools to all who stay here. (Please note that there is a small charge for the use of the pool beds.) There is also a children’s playground and beautifully tended walkways and gardens to spend some quiet time.

You will be able to stock up on almost anything you need at the Old Village’s supermarket and there are various restaurants on site whether you want a quick snack or a more fulfilling meal. There is a bar with snooker/pool just minutes from the apartment.

Just Outside the Old Village ........: Just outside the complex and within walking distance, you will have your choice of visiting the local square where you will find more restaurants and bars and the local cinema where the latest films are shown in English. Walk a little further and you are at Europe’s largest Marina. Here you will find more nightlife with restaurants and bars and even a Casino. A visit to the Marina at night is a must where you can shop at Designer stores till late and just wander till your heart’s content all the while enjoying Europe’s finest climate.

It is at this Marina, you will be able to arrange a variety of water sports from sailing and windsurfing to paragliding. Or maybe go deep-sea fishing or dolphin spotting. You certainly won’t find yourself at a loss for things to do.

You will be set among the beautiful fairways of the Pinhal Golf Course with many other of the finest course in Europe a short distance from the Old Village.

And a Little Further .......: A short car ride from the Old Village you will find the Aqua Show Water Park that is truly a fun filled day out.

There are local markets in Quarteira and beaches are all within walking distance.

You will need a car, or a taxi, to get to either The Forum Shopping Centre in Faro (near the Airport) or to Guia Shopping near Albufeira. Both are open-air centres with multi-screen cinemas and Bowling (in Guia).

Albufeira is also very close by car for some more extravagant nightlife on the main strip.

Rest assured, whatever you are looking for on your holiday, be it rest and relaxation, beach and nightlife, sports, shopping or sightseeing, you will not be disappointed. And staying at the Old Village will give you access to all this without spending your holiday in a stuffy car getting back and forth.

The owner will also help arrange your airport transfers if requested.

Clean, tidy, spacious and everything you need!

The house is in a fabulous location right by the pool so you can nip in and out really easily. There is plenty of cupboard space and the kitchen is well equipped - although we certainly didn't use much of it. Would definitely recommend this property and we look forward to booking it again next year.

It ticks all the right boxes

This accommodation was previously recommended to me by a friend and I have now stayed in two of the owner's properties (3 & 5 bedroom townhouses).

It has been great. The location to airport and harbour are not too far. The facilities and maintenance and are in good order. The swimming pools and surrounding areas are good too.

The owner is really lovely and even up-graded our group to a larger townhouse as she thought it was going to rain all week so she wanted to make our stay more pleasurable. The result for us, was that the weather was great after all!

I would definitely come back again and have recommended this to other friends and family.

It has been a pleasant experience, including excellent location to airport and harbour, facilities and maintenance and are in good order. The owner is really lovely and even up-graded our group to a larger townhouse as she thought it was going to rain all week so she wanted to make our stay more pleasurable. Good news for us, the weather was great after all!

Yet again a perfect holiday

Thanks to Yvonne we have had yet another stay in one of her lovely villas. She arranged transport to and from the airport, met us with the keys, showed us around and recommended restaurants, so all in all a lovely personal service. We stayed in the large 5 bedroomed villa which opened right onto the large pool area which was so convenient. The villa also had a roof terrace with a BBQ and lovely views across Vilamoura . It was well equipped, clean and wonderfully located for getting into town. There is a very reasonably priced supermarket on site, plus restaurants and pubs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa and no doubt we shall be returning again. Thank you Yvonne X

"The property was very large and well furnished and lots of outside space. It wasnt too far out from the main town, a nice evening stroll! The complex was great very handy to have restaurants and a supermarket on your doorstep. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone."

Fab, fab, fab!! extremely impressed by this villa

"Fab, fab, fab!! We were extremely impressed by this villa, 8 adults and 2 under 7s in our party and not once did we get under each others feet as theres plenty of space to be together as well as having space apart. Property was clean, tidy and well presented and we are already talking about when were going back (only been home 2 days). Complex has variety of bars & restaurants which were not over priced and all the meals we had were lovely. Yvonne was extremely helpful and made sure we knew she was only ever at the end of the phone should we need anything."

This townhouse is in the Old Village, Vilamoura and offers three beautiful swimming pools (NB there is a small charge for use of pool beds) and a large grassed children’s playground. There are carefully tended walkways and gardens throughout the whole Village. There is an on site supermarket which is open everyday as well as restaurants and bars.

Within walking distance, you have the local square with more restaurants and bars and a cinema where films are shown in English. A little further and you are at Europe’s largest Marina. Here you will find more nightlife and even a Casino. Designer stores are open till late. On the Marina, you can arrange a variety of sports i.e. sailing, windsurfing, paragliding, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving or dolphin spotting.

You are set within the beautiful fairways of Pinhal Golf with many other courses available nearby.

Other Activities: Water Parks, Deep Sea Fishing, Shopping, Sightseeing, Mini-Golf

Golf: This 5 bedroom townhouse is less than 10 minutes drive from Vilamoura's 4 (soon to be 5) championship golf courses. The Old Course, being on the first course built in the Algarve and still the favourite in Vilamoura with every hole being lined with umbrella pines. Pinhal is also lined with pine trees for most of the course but you get a few glimpses of the ocean on the back 9 holes. Laguna, as the name suggest, has plenty of water holes so bring some old balls with you for this course. Millennium has the contrast of tightly knit pine tree holes and nice open holes that encourage opening up the shoulders a bit. All this and we still haven't ventured out of Vilamoura. You are easily within distance to try your swing at the other courses in nearby Vale do Lobo, Vila Sol and Quinta do Lago.

The owner can also set you up with a contact for booking golf times, etc.

Notes:
The small sitting room /kitchenette is convenient for those who do not wish to go down to the ground floor in the middle of the night for something to drink. It is also great for the kids to play while the parents relax in main living room. It has a futon sofa/bed which can be used also. There is also a small TV with DVD player to keep kids entertained. The large roof terrace has a BBQ and table and chairs for dining 'al fresco' as well as a fridge upstairs so you don't have to go to the ground floor for another beer or bottle of wine. The washing machine is also situated upstairs in the kitchen area of the roof terrace complete with sink etc. so you don't have to carry your clothes upstairs to hang out to dry.
