Very nice property in a secluded area. Not a "cabin in a sub-division" like many other VRBO cabins. Great accommodations; clean and very well-kept. Has plenty of modern conveniences (Wi-Fi, satellite TV, etc.) but you can fully 'unplug' if you want to. Quiet. Owner lives adjacent to the property and makes it known that she is available anytime but does not intrude in any way. Very pleasant. One of the best VRBO experiences we have had. We will DEFINITELY return. I rarely give top ratings to any service/item but this one gets the nod. I only wish that it would have rained a bit while we were there so that we could have enjoyed rain on the tin roof while we had coffee on the porch.
Well....1st off. I got confused and thought that we were staying in Cherokee NC.. which is only a couple of hours from our home did not even realize that we were 5 hours from our home until a week before we were going. Thought Oh lord, what in the world have I done for a short weekend., since I do not like to ride more than a couple of hours. Hauling a motorcycle on the back of a trailer and I am a nervous Nellie on these things. When we were going up the drive, my husband , Gary said this cannot be the place it is too nice for the price. I stated it is like the pics. I must say, this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and so inviting. Had a little confusion on the lock getting in but we figured it out. LOVED the porch and everything about the home. The mattress was wonderful and slept so well would love to LIVE in a place like this, so calming. Cheri was so nice and we have NO problems with anything. She does pottery and there was a little thing on the sink that you coulc put your scrubber things in and I loved it. Called the number as we wanted to purchased some of these holders and her husband stated she was at a fundraiser for the school and could find her there. WE found her and purchased 2 of the kitchen holders that she had available. Would have bought more but that was all Cheri had. Willl be calling her to buy more. IF YOU WANT TO RELAX IN A CLEAN AND QUIET PLACE, THIS IS IT... I would give it a 10 if I could. Hopefully, we will be able to come back soon.... love it love it love it.
9/19 - 9/23/16 As soon as we pulled into the drive and saw the place we were so excited. The view was gorgeous and the house was beautiful. We settled in nicely and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Never have I seen so many stars at night! There were so many neat things to do nearby as well. We were out and about for most of our days, and would return around dinner to relax for the evenings. The hosts were so nice and checked in on us a couple of times. Highly recommend this place!
Great location to the Tellico River area which suited our needs for a few days of fishing. The listing is shown as a 3BR with 2BA and it was extremely clean with several nice amenities. However, on the main level there is a kitchen, living area, and Master Bedroom with bathroom. On the basement level, there are two beds in an open area, one is a day bed and the other a roll-away bed with a hallway and three doors that were all locked with no access so maybe more bedrooms or a bathroom are on that level. All in all, a great value for the price but there needs to be access to other bedrooms or bathrooms as advertised or change the listing description to accurately reflect what the property offers.
Our stay was wonderful from the trip here to the quiet, relaxing evenings spent on the covered deck.
The location is perfect! While being private and secluded, you are only mere minutes from the conveniences of town.
The cabin is very cozy and comfortable with enough room for the whole family or group of friends. It is equipped with all the modern conveniences of home. What more can you ask for!?!?!
We will be back. Thank you for such an amazing stay.
We stayed July 4th, 2016 for 3 days. Wish we were there longer. We loved the house, the location and Cherie and her parents (Mike was away)were wonderful. Hope to make a return visit sometime. We were a small group form PA and Maryland, and drove our motorcycles to TelicoPlains. Loved the whole area! Had a day of rain so hung out at the house on the large back porch, it was wonderful.
