Vacations are times to relax, unwind, and enjoy the same comforts that you enjoy at home. Grand Isle is a small property with upscale residences above first floor retail. Furnished with quality furniture and a well-equipped kitchen, this is not your typical beach rental. Spacious condo has 1 bedroom with king bed, 1 full bath with shower/bathtub, queen sleeper sofa. Second floor condo with elevator access. Community pool which you often have to yourself! Steps to the beach via gated beach access. Beach chair/umbrella rentals available. One of the few properties that accept 3 night minimum stays during the summer season to accommodate long weekends and last minute trips!

Park your car and enjoy several restaurants and retailers within walking distance - Perfect Pig, Angelina's, Cafe 30-A, Old Florida Fish Market. Walk, bike or jog on the fabulous 16 mile 30A bike path located right across the street. Close to other destination communities - 1.5 mi to Seaside, Rosemary Beach and more. Primary registrant must be over 25 years old. Guests under 25 must be pre-approved and registered. Not suitable for children or young adult groups. No pets - no exceptions.

About Lorraine

We had vacationed in Seagrove for several years and love it here. When we vacationed we came in late spring/and summer. After buying the condo we found that we love each season.

We live in Atlanta so we are able to drive for a long weekend every opportunity we get.

Lorraine purchased this condo in 2003

Why Lorraine chose South Walton

This condo, Grand Isle is great. We can park our car and walk wherever we want to go - restaurants, shopping, Seaside. Its a great experience. The condo is very spacious (almost 900 sq.ft.) and is an end unit so there is lots of light. This is not your typical beach rental furnished to be child proof. We cater to couples who enjoy quality furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen. No Corelle dishes here! We have spent a lot of time here over the years and have tried to add lots of extras so we have whatever you may need.

Stayed here because it was inexpensive, but you get what you pay for

Biggest complaint was noisy neighbors. I could only go to sleep at night once they were asleep, because I could hear whenever they moved or took a shower or flushed the toilet. The restaurant directly downstairs is busy as well, so don't plan on sitting on the deck to relax unless you want to hear a lot of conversations from the patrons of the restaurant 10 feet below. Don't plan on watching tv in bed, the screen on my computer at home is about the same size - so I'm guessing it's about a 21" - 23" screen. My daughter asked me to add that the elevator was scary (could only be that it needs servicing, but it made a loud bump when it landed on the ground floor and it made us catch our breath each time).

Owner's Response: We have had a number of positive reviews on our condo but I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay due to conditions which unfortunately were either not reported or beyond our immediate control. The week of July 4 is the busiest week of the year along 30-A. Rentals are at 100% occupancy which increases chances for noisy neighbors, crowded restaurants, etc. Contact information for our property manager is provided prior to check in and is also posted in the condo in case issues arise. Had the late night noise or elevator concerns been reported he would have been able to assist to make your stay more enjoyable. Lorraine

Great location and everything you could need!

This was the perfect place for our first trip to 30A. the condo is perfectly placed in the middle of 30A so you can take in all it has to offer: beaches, shops, biking, great restaurants, etc. The Coconut Cabana is tastefully appointed and has all the necessary amenities. The owners have thought of everything! Highly recommend!

Well decorated Condo and location

My wife and I extended our stay in the area by renting the Coconut Cabana for three days. The condo is nicely furnished and located above a very good restaurant called the Perfect Pig. Food and service were very good. I would recommend this condo to an adult couple only. The owners have it very tastefully decorated and not really set up for a small child. We would stay there again. You can ride bikes or drive to area attractions on 30A within 15 minutes.

Security deposit of $300 required and is refunded upon confirmation that no damage or theft has occurred. Damage insurance is also required if anyone in group is under 25 yrs. old, for groups of 3 or 4 guests, and for all rentals during spring break (March 4 - April 15). The insurance provides coverage for accidental damages. It does not cover violations of our Rules and Regulations, theft, etc.
Weekly rentals during spring break and summer are Sunday through Sunday.
Early check in requests must be approved in advance and are subject to our cleaner's availability to have the condo ready. Requests to check in prior to 2 PM CST will incur an additional $50 fee.
