Bruce Thompson purchased this cabin in 2012
We lived on the lake for 3 years previously to buying this cabin. We fell in love with the lake. This cabin is large and fits friends and family easily.
Our highlights are the beautiful sunsets, big lake, friendly full-service resorts (New Horizon's has the best meals and pie!), hammock, wonderful sand bottom and 300+ feet lake frontage, bunk house for the kids to hang out with friends, and being at the end of the road with lots of space.
Two years ago in July we stayed here for the week and it was great! (I couldn't back up my date of arrival since it only allowed one year) Everyone had a great time and unfortunately I did not write a review then, but wanted to now since we had a great time and enjoyed every minute we were there! I am currently looking into available dates in August to stay again.
We recently spent several wonderful days with our children and grandchildren at this beautiful lake cabin. We had everything we needed to make this a memorable vacation. Bruce is a great host, and made us feel very much at home. The kids enjoyed the paddle boat, kayak, and paddle boards...and time spent on the dock was just what the adults needed! Crystal clear water, and lovely scenery were so relaxing. We made a lot of memories in this perfect location!
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves. Our family gets together once per year because we all live in different parts of the country. The facilities were great and we had a wonderful time reconnecting, relaxing and enjoying life together. We would highly recommend this experience to everyone.
We stayed at this cabin for a week in June and it was awesome. Bruce was there when we arrived and walked us through everything. Had a book on the table with ideas and suggestions on everything. He had every thing you could possibly want in a vacation rental. The two docks come in handy when you have little ones that want to swim and adults who want to fish. The paddle boat, kayak, and paddle board got a lot of use during our time. The kids loved the sandy shore line where they could walk in the water. The clarity of the water was amazing, as the kids were able to get goggles and watch the fish swim everywhere. We even got everyone out on a pontoon cruise at sunset. The bunkhouse was also nice as the older kids were able to get away and watch a movie or get some rest. We will be wanting to rent this cabin again, it gives you the true north feeling the second you arrive.
Place was great, lots to do, kids loved it. Had to cut it a day short because a surveyor came and put flags all over property. With a 2, 3, and 4 year old they found flags pretty fascinating. Did not want to mess anything up. It would have been a constant battle.
Great stay with friends. Cabin is in fantastic shape and stocked with everything you need. Bruce couldn't have been more helpful and thoroughly cared about us having a good time.
The bunk house and available pontoon were also great bonuses.
