About Tony and Birgit DiBartolo

Our family moved to Asheville a year ago full time when Tony retired from the restaurant business. Four years ago, we purchased this cabin in NE Asheville so that we could have a place to visit and bring our dogs. We knew that we would have to rent it as a short term rental to be able to afford to have it. It's has been so successful that since then, we have purchased 4 more vacation rental properties and now devote our time to renting and maintaining those properties. We enjoy the communication with travelers and being able to provide a great place to stay in Asheville that's pet friendly, convenient and reasonably priced. It's important to us that our guests know that we do everything we can to make their vacation memorable. After all, we want you to keep coming back!

Why Tony and Birgit DiBartolo chose Asheville

We purchased this home in May because we were looking for an investment property where we could also enjoy ourselves being only 2 hours away. The home was previously a successful rental on a luxury home rental site with a successful rental history. We immediately fell in love with it's rustic quality, quaintness and perfect location. We made a few improvements and are now ready to share this wonderful cabin with vacationers who will appreciate all it has to offer.

What makes this cabin unique

We love that it feels so secluded and away from city life, yet is so close to downtown Asheville and the wonderful restaurants we like to patronize. We've already seen some of the mountain wildlife and we love to sit on the deck amid the beautiful, stately trees and enjoy the solitude and view. The pine paneling interior brings back memories for me of visiting our family cabin on the lake back in the 70's when I was a child growing up in Minnesota. The upstairs bedroom loft is our daughter's retreat and she spends hours up there reading and looking out at the gorgeous forest.

Beautiful location. Cozy, comfortable accommodations.

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous stay at Buffalo Mountain Cabin. We really enjoyed being in the country side. The winding hilly roads were so picturesque. The cabin was very comfortable and homey. We all enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the valley below. If the weather had been a bit warmer for us, we would have spent more time on the lovely decks.

Beautiful mountain retreat

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a fantastic spring break at the cabin. The owners were super nice and helpful- we found a bottle of wine and a thank you note when we arrived and they called to check in with us to make sure everything was ok. The cabin was spacious for our family of four and it had everything we needed and more. The hot tub and deck were our favorite amenities. The cabin was only about 20 minutes from Asheville and many outdoor activities in the NC mountains. We went horseback riding, hiked in Pisgah National Forest, visited the Biltmore, and checked out all the shops and restaurants in Asheville (the French Broad Chocolate Lounge, Biscuit Head and Double D's coffee shop were a few of our favorites). It was an unforgettable and much-needed vacation; thank you so much Tony and Birgit for sharing your cabin with us!

Beautiful Mountain Home just outside Asheville

  • 5 of 5

Tony and Birgit have a beautiful home that they were kind enough to share with us and two other couples for the weekend. The location was less than 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, and only a couple hours from the skiing slopes of Beech and Sugar Mountain. The house was the cozy cabin we were hoping for and fit our needs perfectly. I recommend this house to anyone who wants a relaxing weekend away in the mountains.
