This is one of three beautiful apartments in this historic, downtown house. This home was built at the turn of the century and is charming but is also slightly funky. Cleanliness is a given. New and contemporary we are not so please understand what this offers.
This apartment is in the center of Boulders most desirable area.
- 2 bedrooms and one 3/4 bath (shower only)
- an inviting private yard and trees.
- private off street parking for one car.
- a main living room with planked wood flooring.
- a gas burning fireplace.
- bistro style kitchen table and chairs
- flat screen cable TV
- free WiFi
**** see below not appropriate for small children.
When joining us you will arrive to a home which is 'rental ready'
sparkling clean complete with bath soaps, shampoos, personal paper, basic kitchen needs such as salt, pepper, coffee maker/filter and all appliances. Oh and of course you will find fresh flowers here.
The windows are historic style. The two bedrooms adjoining the small living room and both have queen sized beds.
- two sets of all cotton sheets
- extra comfortable comforters and blankets
- a full gas kitchen
- close to trails, parks, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and all Boulder has to offer.
**** Because of the age of the building and its 2nd story location this "is not" appropriate for small children.

Rusty purchased this apartment in 1998
If you want to walk to everything Boulder offers this is a good choice
The location will please. The slightly funky charm and quality style will make you smile as well........unless smiling is just not your thing. In that case I think we are booked!
Nice and simple - very hard to see the house # from the street but the shuttle driver clearly had been there before! Outside lighting is not great so it was a good idea to take the provided flashlight with you when you went out at night. All very clean and comfortable and really central. The double locks on the door proved a bit of a challenge but we did master it! I am a paper map person so missed having a map to look at but that was soon remedied by the info kiosk in the pedestrian mall. I would definitely recommend this spot!!
Great location. That is the highlight of this property. I think with a few additions this place could have been better. No bureau in BR to store clothes. Tiny little hotel soaps; old towels. Definitely not enough seating for 4 people.
I had a wonderful stay in Boulder and the location of the unit was outstanding and a big part of that reason . The unit was clean and had the basic necessities.
However there were two disappointments . One was that the couch was not comfortable at all. After a long day of hiking, walking, running, whatever- you'd like to feel more comfortable . A second was that the "air conditioner" in the family room ran so loud you had to turn the tv way up to hear. There is no comparison in decor & comfort of the #937 unit vs unit #933. My friends were in #937, it was fantastic!
All in all it was a nice VBBO option.
The upstairs unit in this wonderfully located home was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Boulder. The home was neat, clean and very well appointed. We loved the location so close to galleries, shops, the farmer's market, the river and river path all within blocks. With the off street parking included with the unit (a must in downtown Boulder) we were able to park and leave the car to walk everywhere. An amazing place for an amazing stay in Boulder.
Great location! Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown area. Just steps away from anything and everything you could want for shopping, dining, night life, etc. The apartment was comfortable apart from the bed in the second bedroom. Plastic mattress cover made it uncomfortable. Otherwise, this rental had everything we needed and we had a very pleasant week long stay! I would recommend this property! Owner was accessible and helpful.
Enjoyed nice long stay at Spruce St. Rusty took care of everything. Great furnishings. Convenient parking. Perfect neighborhood for food and hiking.
