Quaint unit.
Not an immaculate unit, was all we needed to end our long days at the drags. Owners very nice to deal with 😊
Needs a rehab
If you're looking for location to Cedar Point, this place is it. 5 minutes to the main gate. Unfortunately, the property needs to be rehabbed. The previous reviews did mention some tlc needed but we thought we'd try it anyway. Warped floors in the bedrooms, burned/ripped carpeting, an electric outlet with a burn mark on it (!) in the back bedroom, drawers in the kitchen and back bathroom that won't close square, the microwave's door open button flies off when closing the door, the backdoor glass is so discolored so you cannot see the backyard, it's sliding screen fell out of it's track, and my wife almost cut her toe on the back bedroom's, shower stall's cracked floor. We took photo's before moving in for reference and couldn't cancel due to so many of our pre-planned activities. We were very disappointed with the property's condition and cannot recommend it.
Great location. Property needs TLC.
Location to Cedar Point is awesome. 10 minute drive. Being close to the water is very nice. Nice walking trail close by, again by the water that was great. The house was very clean and picked up. The beds are comfortable, kitchen stocked with necessities. Beckie was informative and check in and check out were simple. Neighbors were friendly, but a bit loud. The back yard is nice and comfortable.
The house is in need of repairs. The floor in the master bedroom is buckled. The shower floor off the master is broken and is not sturdy. The kitchen cabinets are a bit rough, as well as the master bathroom vanity. The stairs on the decks are a bit unstable. They just need repaired.
Overall, it was what we needed and was comfortable enough for our stay. The three bedrooms allowed us to spread out and have our own time. Having the second bathroom was great with two teenagers. The stay was enjoyable.
Great location!
Had a great stay. Easy access to Cedar Point! Becky was very helpful and responsive!
Nice stay and great location.
great location for visiting Cedar Point. Plenty of room for everyone. Would stay again.
Safety and clean is NOT a priority.
No handrail on steps. Do not allow children unattended in back yard because its wide open into the water. Several lightbulbs not working. Short and curly hairs on beds. Carpet is too filthy to walk on without shoes. AC is a joke. Back bedroom smells like gas from the garage. I dont have time to do a complete report. I did have time to take pictures of all above mentioned and more.
I find this quite humorous. In all the years we have worked with VRBO this was the first time I had to put no for having a renter return. I had received an email from this group asking if there were more towels because they shower every day. I explained there are two towels and wash clothes for each queen/double and one towel/washcloth for each twin . Not sure how many people they actually brought. A friend who cleans for me cleaned the property and she always does a great job. Upon my return to clean the day they left, it took me twice as long. Doritos were literally on the floor in every room including the bathrooms. Crumbs all over the house. Pop tart crumbs in one bedroom. Nerf bullets throughout the house. A pink substance I can only guess as silly string stuck to carpets, walls, beddings. Dried play dough in various locations. I took a picture of what I collected from the back bedroom which was a sock, two Henry cans still full, several water bottles still full, nerf pellet and a broken board from the end of one of the beds. I can only assume there was some jumping of some kind to have the board break since we literally just replaced the box spring the prior week. The carpet had some type of white frosting ground into it that took me time to clean out. This was not only found in the living room but bedrooms. The brown couch had dried Doritos cheese that had to be cleaned off along with another food substance I couldn’t figure out.
I did not see any light bulbs that needed replaced and if doors are continually open and closed on super hot days the air will need to cool down again. Our deck with a hand rail leads to our yard and docks. We have docks and dockers in the back, people love to fish back off that area and enjoy the open space, it’s no secret it’s open.
The amount of trash took more than one huge container because it was already full for our next renters and it had been dumped.
What I find most interesting is that anyone that has rented from us knows If there is an issue to text or call and we’ll come check. I only heard about wanting more towels. In that first message there was nothing stated about lights or cleanliness of the house. I would think that would have been the first thing!
