This was such a great mini-break! Bob was a wonderful host, quickly assisting us when needed. Paris and London made the place seem like home! The outdoor shower was AWESOME :) We will definitely be back!

Great detail and time spent building. Words can't express it. This is a great area to get away and relax. A perfect escape. Small house living in nature at its best.

Bob's treehouse is fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Bob's treehouse. It was just what we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway: comfortable, quiet, clean, relaxing, beautiful, and rustic but not too rustic as the tv with satellite was greatly appreciated for watching college football! We brought in provisions for supper so once we checked in we could fully enjoy the treehouse until checkout time. It was amazing waking up with our heads in the trees from the comfort of the loft with the windows open and the sounds of the forest serving as our alarm clock. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I have looked at each other since our visit and said, "I miss the treehouse!" We hope to make it back up for another visit...maybe when there is snow in the forecast! That would be beautiful!

We had a great time and will go back and try out the larger cabin sometime.

  • 4 of 5

We loved staying at the White Tail Tree House. We enjoyed the campfire and roasting smores, the little girls loved sleeping and playing dollies up in the loft. We enjoyed watching a movie and the little girls loved playing in the shower in their bathing suits. We all tried out the hammock, but the girls loved swinging in it. We really enjoyed our time and plan to go back and stay in Captain's quarters.

The only suggestion I would have is about the spot lights, especially the one on the east where the shower is. It shines so brightly in the cabin that it is hard to sleep. We could not find the switch to turn it off. There must be one somewhere as it was still on when we left. I forgot to ask Bob about it.

A great adventure!

  • 4 of 5

This "cabin" is a great place to unwind and unplug. The outdoor shower was refreshing and quite a new experience. We enjoyed being in the woods and listening to birds and the creek bubbling below. The living area was comfortable with leather couch and chairs and flat screen TV. The sleeping loft was bigger than expected but a little hard to access (ladder). We would love to visit there again. It was a very relaxing stay.
