This condo sleeps (8) enjoying (2) bedrooms (each having views of the Gulf), a set of hallway bunks and a sleeper sofa. There are (2) full bathrooms (Master having its own and 2nd/guest bath having an access door directly into 2nd bedroom). Highlighting the condo are the open & spacious living, dining & beautiful kitchen areas. These wonderful entertaining areas have all the views you come to the Florida Gulf Coast for. Whether you're preparing a gourmet meal, savoring a shrimp or flavorful cocktail or just lounging around, ONLY END units enjoy this extra spacious entertainment area making comfort an ease. The stunning kitchen is fully stocked, enjoying all new stainless steel appliances and other important kitchen musts. This includes a coffee maker, Kuerig, toaster, blender, pots, pans, baking gear and much more. And yes, there is a large pantry, ready to hold food for an army of beach goers. Dining has options as well, choose to eat at the expansive bar, dining table or enjoy a meal on the covered gulf front balcony. As a final bonus, the elevator is optional! This condo is located up only one flight of stairs positioned right across from the East stairwell (I LOVE THIS THE MOST:)

Emerald Dunes is a private/gated condominium with amenities that include the large pool, hot tub, gas BBQ grills, boardwalk showers, bathrooms and beach attendants. These amenities (including the vast beach) are private and are for the enjoyment of Emerald Dunes guests & owners only.

You can't beat the building's location either. Emerald Dunes is located on the West end of Scenic Highway 98 which has minimal traffic and plenty of essential attractions within walking distance. Just across the street is one of the best coastal cuisine restaurants, Camille's, especially known for their delectable sushi & intimate bar. And talk about coffee convenience, the Java Cafe is right below Camille's, ready to serve your morning Joe and is also open for lunch. Publix(grocery) and Destin Commons (one of the largest shopping & entertainment malls), is located within (2-3 minutes) which holds a bowling alley, movie theater, restaurants & galore of shopping opportunities.

Finally, one of the more notable characteristics that sets Emerald Dunes apart from most condominiums is the private low density setting. There are only 27 units with all amenities under coded supervision and a parking lot with plentiful space. Come and create Destin memories for a lifetime! We are the Owners of opposite West end unit (#205) allowing for larger groups to have separate accommodations in same building. It has the exact same layout and was remodeled too! The VRBO # is 328262 and the reviews are wonderful!

Wonderful for my family's beach vacation!

Condo #201 was wonderful. Was perfect for my family of 6. Was pleasantly surprised by the stock of trash bags, dishwasher tablets, beach/pool toys and beach bag. Condo was very clean and well kept. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this condo to others!

Fantastic condo, location and amazing beach!

Emerald Dunes totally exceeded our expectations! The view and beach access were fantastic. Since it's a corner unit, you have a larger beach view. We enjoyed the balcony so much! The beach is just a few steps away, plus the complex is secure with gated parking and a gate to the beach. The private beach is fantastic, we had a ton of room and the beach attendant was very helpful and friendly. The condo was super clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked - we cooked several times and had everything we needed. We used the bunk beds (they were perfect for our kids) as well as the pull out sofa. Everything was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub area was clean and we used both several times. The entire complex is very well maintained.

We enjoyed fantastic meals at Dewey's and sushi at Camille's (across the street). Highly recommend both of them. The kids enjoyed a pirate cruise, which was very well done.

Just a few suggestions - a couple more beach towels would be a bonus. There are 4, but we had 8 people so we had to bring some, which take up a lot of room packing. A couple of washable rugs near the front door would be nice. Although we swept the tile floor daily, we always felt like our feet were gritty from the sand. Just nice to have - neither thing diminished our stay in the least. We would definitely stay again.

Great property and even better location

First of all, this is a wonderful condo with everything you need to enjoy your time at the beach. I will start with the property itself. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The pool was very comfortable. The beach is unbelievable and the chair attendant was very helpful. No complaints whatsoever. Now for the condo itself. The end units are certainly the preferred units and I can see why. From the second you walk in the door, you'll love this place. You also notice how well maintained it is. Randy was very accessible and his team did a great job. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean with the amenities you would expect from a nicer property like this. Even though we did not use them, the hallway bunkbeds would be perfect for younger children. The kitchen is great and well appointed. Really liked being on the 2nd floor. Here's my reason for a four star rating: the beds. They are just too hard. I tossed and turned all night. If you like very firm beds, you will love this place. I really do plan to rent this property again despite the beds. Heck, maybe by then, they'll have new ones! I do highly recommend this property!! Here's my take on a few restaurants: Boathouse (over on the harbor) meh... it was okay. 790 on the Beach (about three block east) it was okay, service was good. Camille's on Crystal Beach (across the street) excellent food and service. That's about all we did other than the beach, which is why we were there. Awesome place!!

Emerald dunes is located in the most ideal area of Crystal Beach & Scenic Hwy 98. The West end has less congestion & traffic. There are no major commercial buildings within site of property, keeping a more intimate vacation venue. There is so much within a one mile radius of the property including conveniences like Publix grocery and (3) local restaurants. Other attractions within this one mile area include: The Henderson Beach Inn (big wedding venue) The Henderson Beach State Park, major shopping center/Destin Commons (that has just expanded), Rave Movie Theater, 3 golf courses, ice cream shops, walking/jogging paths, bike & scooter rental adjacent to a coffee shop located just across the street from Emerald Dunes and of course the best beaches in the world! I can keep going & going but I believe there are a few things yet to be discovered on your own:)
