AT YOUR DISPOSAL:
A spacious (85 m2), very bright and completely renewed apartment on the second and last floor of a typical 1930th Florentine building, sleeping 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, 10 minutes by bus from Duomo, free WI-FI, independent heating system.
Dining room & kitchenette, provided with stove and oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, a complete set of kitchenware
Living room whit sofa, coffee table and bookshelves with many Italian and English books
1 Master Bedroom with laminate floor, double bed, built-in wardrobes, night tables, reading lamps, air conditioning
1 Bedroom with 1 trundle bed (sleeping 2 if necessary), built-in wardrobes, night table, reading lamp
1 Bathroom with wash basin, shower, bidet, toilet, hair dryer, mirror
1 Toilet with wash basin, washing machine, ironing facilities
1 Small terrace on the roof
The apartment is organized on 2 levels (the 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom are upstairs), has intercom, mosquito screens on every window - very useful especially in Summertime! - and anything you may need for an unforgettable stay in Florence.
A Lift/Elevator is also present in the building.
The apartment is located next to one of the most appealing streets of Florence for shop-aholics, Via Gioberti. Via Gioberti is nicknamed 'Via delle Centovetrine' ('the road of one hundred shopfronts'), and is illuminated by restaurants, cafes, gelaterie, fashion stores, jewellers, bakeries, perfumeries, supermarkets and department stores, etc... Shopping in this area is indeed cheaper than in the rest of the city as the area is located just outside the main city boulevards (that pass through Piazza Beccaria and mark the border of the historical centre) but it's still within walking distance from the main attractions.
YOU ARE ONLY:
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT (BUS 14 & 6):
(bus stop next to the main door or within 3 minutes walking distance)
10 minutes from Duomo
12 minutes from Central Station
BY FOOT: 15 minutes from Sant’Ambrogio/Santa Croce area
BY CAR: 5 minutes from the city center.
Parking in the city center is not allowed to non resident.
On the contrary, the great thing about my apartment is that parking is easy and can be done in the street or in the streets nearby at the maximum cost of Euro 12 a day (Sunday and Public Holidays parking is for free!). Should you prefer a 24/7 surveilled city car parking, then Parking Alberti is located right around the corner (2 minutes by foot) where you can park at the cost of Euro 20 a day or Euro 70 a week.
What a great opportunity to use my property as a perfect base to discover by car the beautiful cities and landscapes that Tuscany has to offer you!
As opposed to other apartments in the city center, you will fully enjoy the tranquility of this area, far better than the noisy narrow medieval streets packed with people that will often prevent you from sleeping at night.
CHECK IN PROCEDURE:
As this is not a hotel (but the personal assistance is far better, trust me!), and therefore there is no 24/7 reception duty, in order to organize the check in I will need the exact time of your arrival at the apartment. I will allow a maximum of 30 minutes of delay, after which we may leave the place and you will need to schedule another appointment by calling us directly.
Late check in (after 9pm) - € 20 to be paid at check in
Early check out (before 8am) - € 20 to be paid at check in.
- CITY TAX
The Florence City Council instituted an obligatory CITY TAX for all stays by visitors who are non-residents of Florence for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
The tax amount is € 2,50 per person per night.
Children under 12 years old are exempt.
The city tax must be paid in cash at the check in.
The landlords request € 40 in cash at the check in as final cleaning fee. The landlords request a deposit of € 150.00 in cash at the check in. The tenant undertakes to return the unit property located in the state in which the same was received, otherwise the deposit of € 150,00 will be retained by the lessor at the check out.
I'm a true Florentine who loves traveling and meeting new people. I'm passionate about good food, good movies and good music.
I'd like that my guests to find the coziness and comfort that they need while traveling. As I've always been working in tourism and within international environments, it's easy for me to understand the needs of my guests. I will be happy to help you discovering the hidden gems of my Florence, far away from the usual touristic paths, for a true Florentine experience!
We had a great time in Florence and absolutely loved the apartment. The house is very convenient situated close to the city center. It’s located in a nice, quiet part of the city. The bus is nearby but we also walked a couple of times to the centre during our stay. Nearby there is a big supermarket and coffee bar where we had a nice Italian breakfast with cappuccino every morning. The apartment was very clean, big rooms and has everything that you need.
We will absolutely go back to this apartment next year!
A very nice flat, quiet though with a good location (30 minutes by foot from the Duomo Piazza and frequent buses to the center). The owner was very kind (He helped us with the the luggage and found us 2 beds for our baby twins). We would come back with pleasure!
Maybe one little flaw: The bedroom without the air-conditioning system was very hot (beg. of july).
We had a great weekend in this very nice apartment. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. The people who did the check in were very friendly and helpful providing a city map with a walking route and nice places to visit. The apartment is located in a quiet street, but the city center is easily reached by foot, walking along the river side or through a shopping street. Very nice place for your morning cappuccino and croissant opposite to the apartment. All in all a great experience.
A very nice apartment, quite calm, clean and well equipped, not more than 15 minutes from the historical centre of Florence by bus (line 14). There is a bus stop almost at the door of the building where the apartment is situated. Warm welcome at the flat by very helpful people. I would like to satu here again in the future. Thanks !
Prior to our arrival in Florence Bitte sent an an email providing lots of information on local attractions and restaurants, including links that we could check out ahead of our trip. When we arrived Bitte's parents were there to show us the lay of the land in the apartment and the surrounding neighborhood, which we very much appreciated. The apartment is in a good location for walking, and we walked a lot! The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had more than enough linens, dishes etc. The stairs up to the bedrooms is quite narrow and spiral so we didn't attempt to take our suitcases up stairs. Being two females travelling our suitcases were pretty big and heavy so it worked fine just to leave the suitcases on the main level. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment for your stay in Florence.
Final Cleaning Fee Euro 40,00 to be given in cash at the check in.
A damage deposit of € 150.00 in cash is requested at the check in. The tenant undertakes to return the unit property located in the state in which the same was received, otherwise the deposit of € 150,00 will be retained by the lessor at the check out.
