A modern 3 bedroom 'town house' with 2 bathrooms and a cloakroom, terrace air conditioning/warm air heating. Our house is ideally situated on a small complex of only 14 properties with landscaped gardens and communal pool, 5 minutes stroll to the sandy beach, and 20 minutes to the marina and rocky beach. On the ground floor there is a contemporary open plan lounge and dining area with kitchen to the rear and a cloakroom. Outside there are 2 terraces, one overlooking the gardens and pool area, and a second larger terrace overlooking a quiet street. On the first floor there are 2 twin bedrooms and a bathroom. Stairs to the second floor lead to the large gallery style master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. This bedroom has king size bed and a bed chair to accommodate a 7th person. Further furniture has been added to this room to provide a relaxing area. All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. You will love it's relaxing feel and close proximity to all amenities.

Areas of interest and tourist attractions: About 30 minutes drive away is Benidorm with many spectacular attractions, including Aqualandia Waterpark, Terra Mitica Theme Park, Mundomar Aquarium and Terranatura Wildlife Park. 20 minutes drive away is the historic town of Denia with its historic castle and cosmopolitan shops. Guadalest set in the mountains is a place not to be missed by the visitors along with the waterfalls of Algar. Other nearby towns are Moria, Calpe and Aletea. Please be sure to check the port in Javea for the various ferries that can reach some of the above destinations.

Great house - Lovely location

Pretty faultless really; The house was exactly as described with everything to keep us fed, watered and entertained during our stay in July/Aug . The house, pool and complex were well maintained and very clean. As the complex was only shared by a small number of other residents, we often had use of the pool exclusively. The location of the house was perfect, no noise in the evening, yet only a short stroll to the beach, and resort with many restaurants, shops , bars and markets. Theres much to see and do in Costa Blanca t, and if you have a car there are some fantastic places to visit within an hour in almost every direction. We did a couple of day trips to Valencia, which is a fantastic mix of ancient and modern architecture, with fabulous shops and many other amazing places to visit. Even if you dont choose to drive, Javea has lots on offer to keep you entertained throughout your holiday.. An excellent large and very reasonably priced supermarket is only a couple of minutes away, great for stacking up the fridge with treats for those days when you are too ‘sunned’ out to be bothered going out for dinner. We used the barbecue on a couple of occasions and it was so relaxing eating on the terrace in the evening, people watching and enjoying the heat at the end of the day, with a cold beer or glass of wine. The resort was safe and friendly and our two teenage daughters loved walking out in the evenings, taking in the ambience . We had need to contact the owners mid holiday for help on a problem we encountered (of our own making), and they were extremely supportive in helping us resolve this quickly – (Thanks Kariann). The resort and the accommodation ticked all the boxes for us, and so we would definitely recommend this holiday rental to other holiday makers,

Perfect location for families-home from home!

We have returned from a fantastic holiday in this property and the standard of accommodation and pool had a huge part to play in it being so good.Once we resolved the initial fright of a temporary lapse in communication while the owners were on honeymoon we didn't look back. We are a family of 5, my husband and I, our teenager son 14yrs, and 5yr old daughter and 4yr old son. The pool was a substanial size by comparison to alot of others we saw in higher density compexes and extremely well maintained with fencing to gaurd against little ones gaining access too quickly.It got great use everyday and almost had it to ourselves.The complex is quiet but at the same time everyone we met were nice and friendly The house was very spacious and indeed could have facilitated a visit from granny and grandad! It had the welcome pack to keep us going till morning which was great as it was a late flight into Valencia we had taken.It was spotless on arrival and had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.It had a good selection of books and DVD's for our use and it was very handy having the ipod docking station for charging and being able to play our own music.It was a real home from home as it had presses stocked with alot of condiments and supplies you'd have at home. It had buckets and spades and plenty of pool accessories aswell as parasols for the beach etc. The beach was a short walk away and never posed a difficulty to our smallies and we didn't even use the buggy.There were plenty of options on the beach-pedaloes,boats and jetski's for hire aswell as excursions. While we were there we visited the tourist office and got the events guide for the festival that was taking place so we went to the bull running which was a great experience to see the spanish in their element and it wasn't gorey at all.We also saw a huge fireworks display another night.Market day is Thursday in the old town and it was nice to see all the banter going on.When it came to food we were spoiled for choice and with kids it was either beachfront (playgrounds)or marina(skimming stones). We did have a car for the 2 weeks so went to the animal and water park in Benidorm which was great fun but were glad to be leaving again!We ventured up and down the coast to see what other options were around. All things considered if we were returning to Costa Blanca we would definately choose this accommodation and location again.

Altamar Apts

Just returned from a weeks holiday and had a fabulous time. The house is modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped in an excellent quiet position. It also has 2 small seating areas at front & back and a great pool, (although a little nippy in early May). Approx.10 minutes leisurely stroll to the lovely Arenal beach, about 20 mins to Port area and 2 minutes to rocky beach area where beach bars are conveniently spaced along the sea front (although these weren't open in early May). Both Port & Arenal beach areas have a good choice of restaurants and bars and there is a lovely supermarket 3 mins drive away. Would recommend to friends and family and hope to return again ourselves soon.

Javea is ideally situated for the perfect beach holiday. If you want sun, sand and sea it has several blue flag beaches within easy reach. The palm tree lined promenades are ideal for an evening stroll and the restaurants and bars cater for all tastes and pockets. The Arenal area with it's safe sandy beach is ideal for families with younger children with bars and restaurants over looking the beach. The rocky beaches of Javea are 2 minutes walk from the house and are dotted with several open air beach bars where you can relax with a drink at the sea edge. The port area of Javea is 15 minutes walk away and here you can find several up-market restaurants along with smaller traditional Spanish restaurants. The old town of Javea with its historic centre is 3km away and here you can see the real traditional Spanish streets and buildings. Benidorm is 30min drive away and there are many family attractions here for all ages. Javea can be easily reached from both Alicante and Valencia Airports.

Golf: The closest golf course are Club de Javea, Club de Golf La Sella and the Seve Ballesteros designed golf course at Oliva Golf.
