Stunning property in close proximity to many amazing sights

  • 5 of 5

This truly is an amazing place to stay. There is a 1 hr hike to a mountain top waterfall literally right from your backyard. There is a local mini mart and an amazing cafe/restaurant within 2-3 min walking distance from the property.

Best of all is the property manager, Bryan, who is there to check and provide guidance on a daily basis. One of the most pleasant individuals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He provided maps of local towns with things to do and places to eat in each. Also provided a list of trustworthy taxi drivers which we used for our entire stay to escort us around the Sacred Valley and Cusco. Highly recommend this property. It has the best of everything!

Thanks Bryan!

Relaxing, beautiful, & just what we needed

  • 5 of 5

Gabriel was so helpful when we arrived from our taxi ride from the Cusco airport. He showed us around the house and gave suggestions of things to do. There is not much to do in Urubamba but thats just what we wanted! We made an outside fire one night and looked at the stars (the sky is so clear!) There is also an amazing waterfall hike you can do that takes about 2-3 hours and we woke up at 5 am one morning and watched the sunrise from the top of a mountain. Take advantage of getting dinner cooked for you and the massages! The local cafe Viva Peru was delicious and a great place to grab a bite to eat and have some beers but they do close at 4 pm. Beds were comfortable and we felt very safe too! Loved everything about this place.

Absolutely beautiful setting, breathtaking views, peaceful, quiet, clean, friendly & helpful manager

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our 5 days stay at the Green House Villas. Accommodations are beautiful, clean, quiet, and well equipped, with very comfortable beds. The gorgeous flower gardens and beautiful mountain views greet you each morning. There is a wonderful cafe/coffee shop just a 5 minute walk down the road. The Villas are conveniently located in the Sacred Valley, close to public buses but in a peaceful location away from the main road, yet a short walk to the bus if you choose to take it to the surrounding towns and sites. if you prefer a private driver, this is easily arranged by the proprietor, Brian, and is very reasonable and safe. We used both the public bus as well as the private driver during our stay at the Villas. Our driver was always on time and was very pleasant and helpful.

Brian, owner/manager, is very helpful and friendly and came every morning to chat and see what we might need that day in way of places to visit, transportation, etc. He answered questions and set up private transport a day ahead for the days we needed it. When we returned in the late afternoon or evening, the house was clean, dishes washed, bathrooms cleaned and beds made by the maid employed by the Villas. She also washed our clothes one day for a very reasonable fee.

I definitely recommend the Green House Villas and would return for another stay. I hope we get the opportunity to stay at The Green House Villas again in the future.

Escape to paradise in heart of Sacred Valley

  • 5 of 5

The Green House Villas have been the highlight of our stay in Peru. They are nestled in the Sacred Valley with spectacular, jaw dropping views all around. The houses are surrounded by lush gardens that attract a multitude of birds. Each morning one can sip their coffee while gazing upon the hummingbirds zipping amongst the vast variety of flowers. Our host, Bryan, was very gracious and hospitable attending to all our questions and arranging transportation to the various sites in the area. We loved it so much that we tried to extend our stay. Unfortunately for us there was no availability as new guests were due to arrive. In hindsight, our family of four regret not spending more of our time in this beautiful, peaceful location.

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids) stayed in the Brown House and it was comfortable, clean, and spacious with breathtaking views and the most beautiful gardens. The location was excellent for walking and the cafe nearby was fabulous. Bryan was a great host, taking care to check in on us each day to see if there was anything we needed, and was available by phone if we had any questions. We really enjoyed being in a private, quiet area with easy access to all areas of the Sacred Valley. We absolutely loved our stay there and wished we had stayed longer.

FANTABULOUS home

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic 5 nights we had staying in the yellow house over Christmas 2016. Bryan was there to help make us feel like this was our home and guide us to the best of the Sacred Valley. We got picked up at the airport, then went right away to a huge supermarket in the new fancy mall to stock up for 6 days. We had our twenty-something sons with us and they have serious appetites. I know Bryan saw all the bags of food coming in and probably wondered if we'd seriously eat all that!

Highlights:

-the view of the gardens and the mountains from the wall of windows in the yellow house

-hiking to the local waterfall through farmers fields on our first full day

-the fireplace on the coolish evenings (logs are provided)

-breakfast outside in the lovely garden under a clear morning sky

-watching the clouds play peak-a-boo with the mountains

-hiking down from the top of the Pisaq ruins into the market square (SUPER AWESOME DAY!)

-acclimating to the altitude easily before heading to Cusco and our Inca Trail trek

-evening family time without a TV but with games, cards and books (this is an area where there is little else so it means you make your own fun!)

-super helpful Bryan!!

-sitting in the Viva Peru cafe for a late lunch after a 3 hour hike (open 11-4pm)

-luxury yet homey

-great beds and bedding

This is one of the best VRBO experiences we've had. I can't tell you enough. You will love it here. THANK you Bryan for everything!
