Red cottage is situated in the small village Celopeci, a peaceful and quiet area surrounded with rich Mediterranean vegetation. It offers the perfect opportunity for those who wish to escape the usual tourist crowds and relax by the swimming pool in a picturesque countryside garden. This region, called Zupa Dubrovacka, has long fascinated visitors with its natural beauties, lush vegetation, rich culture and crystal clear sea. If you wish to spend your holiday in a small peaceful village, and at the same time have the possibility to visit many interesting destinations that can be reached by car or bus, Red cottage is the perfect choice for you.
We recommend visiting Konavle region where you can taste rewarded wines, go horseback riding or enjoy the adrenaline park. Cavtat, the town by the sea is the perfect place to have a romantic dinner. The city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina best known for its beautiful historical Ottoman-style bridge is about 2 hours away. Another sites worthwhile seeing are the medieval cities in the Bay of Kotor (Montenegro) also 2 hours away.
Red cottage accommodates up to 4 persons and is ideal for a family or a group of friends. Air-conditioned with floor heating, fireplace and grill, it also facilitates a swimming pool. It is suitable for all seasons!
We also rent an apartment in Dubrovnik. If you want to have a look on it click No. 401681 on the same web site.
We stayed in the villa for 10 days. The house is technically very good equiped and well maintained, as well as the garden area. Pool is spacious enough and filtering system works good. The owner is very nice, cooperative and reachable, what is a very good sign when you stay far away from your home and need much guidance. The whole property matches the description fully and look entirely as in photos. Thanks for the warm receiption and nice stay.
This was a high quality holiday home, furnished and finished to a very high standard. The gardens and pool were also very well maintained, with comfortable pool furniture
It was very hot when we visited in July so the pool and air con were essential.
Beaches nearby were small, rocky and very crowded. Fortunately we had no need to use them with our private pool.
Nika was very helpful on our arrival, suggesting where we might visit and even the best place to park in Dubrovnik old town.
The house had every home comfort and the two bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for two couples.
We sat on the outside terrace most evenings but the inside sitting and dining areas were very comfortable.
The kitchen was small but very well equipped, even providing a teapot!! A rarity when travelling abroad.
Would recommend the house for a quiet get away from the crowds holiday, but with easy access to worthwhile places.
Would love to stay here again
We stayed here mid-June. All the details given are accurate. Property is clean, well maintained and the owners are very friendly and helpful. This is their home outside of the holiday season, so they take a particular pride in it.
We had a really good time here, I thoroughly recommend it. Lovely location, easy access to transport, but a car is advisable.
Previous reviews are accurate, good facilities and generous owners. Good local shopping five minutes drive away, main highway about the same, Dubrovnik town about twenty minutes. Also only about 15 minutes from the airport.
we were 4 guys, relaxing and getting to know croatia. we usually go to spain but thought try something new.
like the previous reviewer said this villa is well equipped and clean. its 15 mins from the airport (not landing path) in a quiet place and 15 mins from dubrovnik city. 5-8 mins ride to the super market, also a bus top 2 mins walk from the villa. If you are interested in dubrovnik this place is the best location. only 10 mins from the beaches of Mlini and others.
I chose the villa and my friends were very happy with it, after staying in good villas in spain they had high expectations and were pleasently surprised by how good this villa was. Two bathrooms are great, two bathrooms should be the norm in any villa that holds more than 3 people.
Kitchen had more than enough pots and pans for cooking.
the pool was great too and the whole place is well maintained.
we were there during the world cup round 1 and QF and it was great to watch the matches on the large LCD TV. Internet was great and we streamed BBC radio commentary while watching the game on croatian channel.
using the villa as our base, we drove to Budva in Macedonia and also to Mljet national park past dubrovnik.
Nika and her husband met us at the villa even though out flight was delayed by an hour and gave us a tour of the villa as well us giving us a welcome gift. We were not sure what to expect of croatia but meeting Nika and her husband made us quite relaxed. Like Livio (nika's husband) said we watched the video of Dubrovnik under attack and then we walked around dubrovnik old city, its a weird feeling seeing war scarred buildings in a buzzing town.
i would easily recommend this villa to my friends and relatives.
Thank you Nika for a great holiday!
A well equipped villa in a good location for Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik Riviera. The beautiful garden with its private pool is perfect for relaxing whilst beaches are 10 minutes drive. A car is essential.
this villa exceeded all of our expectations! It was wonderful in every respect. We liked the idea of being away from the crowds to enjoy leisurely evenings watching the swallows, then bats, fly around the pool, whilst enjoying a bbq, in the peace and tranquility of this setting, whilst being within such easy access of beaches, the wine region, stunning coast line and of course Dubrovnik, with its history, excellent restaurants and nightlife if you so choose.
We had a wonderful week in Croatia all the better for staying in this villa and with such helpful owners, when you needed it (organising a taxi into Dubrovnik one evening for us) without being intrusive.
We would definatley recommend this villa with the added bonus of the pool, makes it an ideal retreat.
Situated in the beautiful little village of Celopeci just 10 minutes drive from the Croatian pearl town of Dubrovnik, this newly built and tastefully decorated villa offers a perfect and peaceful holiday. The nearest shop is a supermarket just 2.5km from the villa. In Dubrovnik, a UNESCO heritage site, you will find plenty of pebble beaches and a good selection of restaurants like ‘Nautica’, ‘Proto’, ‘Dundo Maroje’ in the old town or by the sea which offer local Dalmatian specialities such as grilled fish and meat. Dubrovnik is full of entertainment, culture and architectural heritage; you can also catch ferries to the Elafitski Islands and to Mljet, one of the best National Parks. You should also visit the town of Cavtat on the sea coast just a few kilometres drive away. It has a great selection of restaurants plus some lovely spots for swimming.
