Luxury 3 bed 2 bath townhouse just a short walk from unspoiled Cape Canaveral Beach. This beautiful property has wood floors, an open floor plan with a modern well-equipped kitchen and is comfortably furnished with rich colors and fabrics. A double garage is attached to the property. The ground floor master bedroom with Queen bed has an en-suite bathroom and access to a rear screened porch and large back yard with 100 year old live oak trees. The second floor offers 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with 2 twin beds) and a loft space with a full size futon. Free Wifi included.
The beautiful unspoiled beach at Cape Canaveral is at the end of the street (less than a 10 minute walk through a small park), and Orlando's attractions are less than an hour's drive. Kennedy Space Center is a 20 minute drive
Comprehensive shopping facilities and a wealth of restaurants are close by and there are theater, cinema, and music venues all within easy reach.
Rich is an Englishman from London, and Kim grew up in Michigan. Both of us have been in Florida for more than 10 years and we can't think of anywhere we'd rather be, including anywhere else in Florida. Cape Canaveral is paradise. We enjoy the sunshine and the water and we love the people here too. We are self-employed professionals in the computer and health fields. Our children are grown and we make our own schedules so travel is a big part of our lives. When we're home, we love to entertain, tend our gardens, sail and kayak. Rich rides motorcycles and plays drums, and Kim loves to walk the beach and putter around the house.

Cape Canaveral offers a relaxed and 'beachy' atmosphere with all the conveniences of a the big city close at hand. We love the beach at Cape Canaveral. It's long and wide and great for walking or for sitting, and the water is wonderful as well. We spend many afternoons reading and relaxing under an umbrella at the end of our street and frolicking in the surf. It's paradise, the place you want to vacation.
Quiet and convenient. We love the area and the location. We can walk to the beach from our front door in under 10 minutes or be in Orlando in less than 50. The stairway holds a large window with a beautiful stained-glass piece that cast a lovely light into the living area, and the skylight in the loft lets in natural light and provides a peaceful and relaxing sound when the rain is falling.
Booking the home was very easy and straightforward process. The homeowner (Rich) was very responsive and accommodating during the process (He got us a "beach buggy" to carry stuff to the beach). Emails were answered within the day (and most times within the hour).
Upon arrival we were surprised to find the home bigger than what appears in the photos (most times it is the other way around). Everything was in working order and exactly as in the photos. We liked the large garage to park our car inside (Honda accord).
We walked to the beach everyday and it tooks us less than 10 mins to get there (we are mid-fifty). You could drive to the beach access park but there are less than 10 parking spaces on Washington ave.
There is a good Pizzeria just in the strip mall behind the house (DiLorenzo). We use it twice and very good pizza.
Also in the same strip mall, there is a Deli (mini grocery) and excellent service and food counter. Their prices for a small store were excellent (compare to 7-11 across the street).
While in Cape Canaveral we took a 4 day Cruise from the Port Canaveral. A taxi from the house to the port is around $12.00.
The Kennedy Space Center is a must to visit. The food court is a bit pricey but you can bring own lunch in your backpack. It is only a 15 mins drive from the house.
The neighbourhood feel very safe. We walked around everyday and felt very secure. Lots of Police Car Patrolling the streets...!

We had a great January at Rich's place! The condo is private, roomy, and close to everything --beach, airport, shops, national seashore and great restaurants. If you want to eat in, the kitchen is great! Hope to come again!
My wife and I have been driving down the Cocoa beach area for a number of years and this place was one of the best we have stayed at. It has a wonderful blend of comfort and convenience together with some great owners.
It is spacious and well decorated. The living room furniture is actually comfortable. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is as pretty as the pictures depict. We really loved the back porch and spent a lot of late afternoons in the shade of the oak trees that surround the back yard.
There are lots of toys and a beach cart to haul everything to the beach. It is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the beach and there is a great little grocery store right around the corner by the gas station.
The owners are terrific. They respected our privacy and responded immediately to any questions that we had.
We both highly recommend the unit and plan to spend another month there in future years.
My husband and I recently rented Rich's townhouse for a two week stay in Cape Canaveral. The townhouse was clean, spacious and well furnished. We felt at home immediately. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well each night! The open floor plan worked well for us. If we'd had visitors, the upstairs rooms would have provided everyone some space and privacy because it has a sitting area as well as 2 bedrooms and a bath. I enjoyed the screened back porch for late afternoon relaxing and reading. It was great to have use of the garage for our car and beach gear.
The location was ideal - a short distance to the beach and plenty of areas to walk and bike. We usually ended up driving to the beach since we brought chairs, books, snacks etc. but it's an easy walk if you choose to. The beach was wonderful and we went almost every day for at least a few hours. There was lots to do within a short drive - the Space Center, Daytona Raceway, Merritt Island Nature Preserve, mini golf, shopping and dining.
I especially appreciated that our small dog was welcome! We had a good hour+ walk each morning around the neighborhoods and always met nice people along the way.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return to this townhouse.
This house is just beautiful, spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and very accommodating, walking distance to the beach and a very convenient location close to just about everything including Disney World. Kim and Rich the owners I can't say enough about them. They are the most down to earth people you'll ever meet and they went way above and beyond their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay, which we did. Thank you Kim and Rich for all you've done to make our family trip a trip to remember forever. Would definitely highly recommend this property!!!
Our stay was very relaxing. The listing description was more than accurate. There were features that were not mentioned such as the sunroof, the enclosed patio leading from the master bedroom where we had our morning coffee, and the view of the landscape was immaculate. The place was very clean and breathtaking, everything was easy to find and not to mention the beach was just at the end of the street which was less than ten minutes walk (a 2 minute drive). The owner was very accommodating and was just a phone call away. All in all it was very easy to find the location and we would recommend this property to everyone. There are a lot of activities within a short drive from mini golfing to restaurants, to local big box stores and movie theatre, and a short distance to Kennedy Space Centre just to name a few. Our family which includes 2 young adult boys enjoyed our stay immensely and are already speaking of rebooking in the near future.
