  • Even in the 3 bathrooms studs are present! Two bathrooms with shower, the third is with bathtub. The baby equipment is present (bath, potty, ...). Each bathroom, you see the morning sunrise over the wheat fields!(See photo on our website)

One of the couple's room on the ground floor with ensuite bathroom. A barred cot is present in one of the pair of rooms. Each room has obviously blackout curtains to sleep long in summer.

Beautiful historic building

We stayed at La Charretterie with 6 adults & 1 child. This is a beautifully restored historic building in a delightful setting, on the edge of a charming village with every amenity one could wish for. Wonderful views across open fields to the front, & a huge secure rear garden for children to play in. The house is very spacious, very well equipped & very comfortable. It is only a short drive to lovely unspoilt beaches. A really pretty & interesting area to visit. The owners are extremely thoughtful and helpful. Would stay there again anytime. Excellent.

Fabulous house for a family holiday

We booked this house for a family holiday with three children under three years of age (two under one year). It was easy to locate and the perfect destination in terms of closeness to the beach, easy access from the Dieppe ferry, and lots of space in the garden for the children. The little village is delightful as are the country lanes around the area, and we enjoyed several evening strolls.

The house is on the whole extremely well equipped. We loved the style of it and the light from the enormous French windows. The BBQ is great as is all the outside seating, which meant that evening drinks and outdoor dinners were possible in the good weather. We did have a problem with the "cot" which was advertised as this was entirely unsuitable for any baby old enough to be moving. It was an old fashioned wooden cot with very low sides and we would recommend that families bring their own and not rely on this one. We had to buy a cot at the hypermarket when we arrived which was not ideal.

Overall thoroughly recommend for a lovely relaxing time away.

60th Borthday

We hired La Charretterie for my wife's 60th birthday. The bedrooms easily accommodated the needs of four couples and three children. We had a lovely time, having picked probably the best weeks weather this year! Would thoroughly recommend.

A beautiful house, ideal for a family holiday.

Last year we stayed at Le Manoir, a house also owned by M & Mme Lenne another fine house to which we gave a 5 star rating.

This house is similar but it has an extra bedroom and we especially enjoyed the row of windows which open onto the garden. We should also mention the very smart new picnic table provided on the patio!

It is a house of character, clean and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much.

In my review of Le Manoir I wrote about Offranville and the surrounding area, so I will not repeat my comments.

As before, M & Mme Lenne were prompt and efficient and their representative in Offranville Mme Michel was helpful.

We thoroughly recommend this house.

Visit Normandie with your friends!

This is the perfect place to go with your friends. A large livingroom for talking, reading and for planning tours to the neighbourhood. A well equipped kithchen and we had splended breakfasts and suppers in the house and outside at the terrace.

Offranville is a nice village with a good market and we hired bikes at the former railwaystation.

The Charretterie is particularly well located, close (350 m) from the town center and surrounded by gardens and cultivated areas that create a peaceful environment. The sea is 5 km, a choice of beaches open to you: Pourville, Varengeville Vasterival, Ste Marguerite. At 300 m from the Charretterie near the church are two good bakeries. At the same distance from the Charretterie in another direction, you find a Carrefour Market of 2500 m2 and all necessary amenities. The beautiful city of Dieppe, with its castle-museum and its marina under the cliffs are 8 km, Rouen and beautiful historic neighborhoods are approx. 12 h.
