Located on the second floor, the apartment is a shotgun style built in the 1920's, with wood floors and a lot of charm. Completely furnished featuring a king size bed, linens, towels, fully stocked kitchen, you need only supply the food. Comfy seating in the living room as well as a desk for your laptop use, includes wi-fi. Full bath and washer and dryer.
The apartment was clean and perfect size for me. I was on an extended work trip which meant I spent a lot of time in the apartment working. It was very comfortable. The location was fantastic as I could walk to all the fun restaurants, stores and bars in uptown. Would definitely stay here again!
We have few negative comments. One is the steep stairway. Carrying luggage up and down those stairs for someone 78 years old is a bit of a nervous trip. The other is the lack of AC. It cools off nicely overnight but until the sun sets, it is hot.
Comfortable and well appointed. It provided a great base for some local exploring.
The apartment was just what we needed and wanted. Stayed there four weeks. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Close to everything we needed. It was just as we expected, based on the description provided. Owner and manager were responsive and helpful. We highly recommend for anyone wanting a complete apartment for long vacations. Great location as a base for exploring all of Western Montana.
We were visiting family and attending a summer festival. Perfect for us. Easy in and out. The location was great. Close to Tech, Uptown and an easy walk to our favorite place to eat "The Hummingbird". Full size washer and drier right there sure came in handy. Great wifi!!!
Visit Berkeley Pit, both a super fund site and a popular visitor attraction. Tour Our Lady of The Rockies a memorial to women around the world. Old Butte Historical Adventures offers a variety of walking tours of uptown Butte. Tour the Copper King Mansion, much of the 34 room mansion has been preserved. There is the World Museum of Mining providing the opportunity to see the inner workings of a below-ground mine. Don't forget to ride the Copper King Express, an historic train of old Butte and Anaconda.
Spectacular hiking and biking trails surround town, such as the Milwaukee Road Rails to Trails and the Continental Divide Scenic Trail. To experience pristine water, the nearby Big Hole, Madison and Ruby rivers provide Blue Ribbon trout fishing.
