Comfortable, scenic property!

  • 5 of 5

My two companions and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this beautiful waterfront property. The house is very well equipped, was spotless when we arrived, and we felt comfortable from the beginning. We all felt "at home", not at your typical vacation rental. Communication with the owners was excellent from the time of booking. Since we were arriving late, arrangements had been made to retrieve the key and showed the flexibility of the owners. We enjoyed all the nautical decorations, there are plenty of games, and the two televisions were great. Unfortunately, we had less than perfect weather but spent a lot of time in the sunroom, with a beautiful 180 degree view of the water. There's plenty of seating on the deck as well as the Adirondack chairs down below on the patio. The location of the property is also wonderful. Just a few minutes from a major highway and about 10 minutes from an excellent supermarket, cinema, and shopping center outside of Fall River (Exit 1 off of Route 24 East). We enjoyed exploring the idyllic scenery on a drive through Little Compton down to Sakonnet Point, with a stop at Gray's Ice Cream on the way back. We all recommend this beautiful home and look forward to a return visit!

Best vacation house!!

  • 5 of 5

This house and the location was absolutely beautiful! We loved it the minute we walked in and saw the view of the ocean!

The house was spotless and had everything you would possibly need, including a welcoming bottle of wine.

We were looking for a relaxing week and this was the perfect place.

The owners are very nice and provided great customer service.

We look forward to returning next year!

Great house -- very relaxing!

  • 4 of 5

The ocean views were spectacular from the living room/dining room, the sun porch and, of course, the deck over the water. The sound of the sea was heard through all windows which was very calming..

It was clean and comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen including a Keurig coffee maker.

We were looking for a week of R&R and _not_ running around doing touristy things. This comfortable house and its location on the water was exactly what we needed!

There's a piano which my husband enjoyed playing.

The only drawback was that the shower water pressure was very bad, and I thought the towels could be newer/better quality for the price.

But in all other ways it exceeded our expectations. We hope to come back soon!

This house is in an amazing location! Many windows with views of the water provide perfect images!

The sun is on the deck for the entire day. The addition of an umbrella for the table enabled us to sit out there all day. The neighborhood was small and quiet although very close to a main road.

a total gem of a vacation home!!

  • 5 of 5

This was one of the best vacation homes we have stayed in, and we have been coming to Rhode Island for years. The property backs up to the bay and sitting out here in the early mornings, or as the sun sets, or when the stars dot the sky is a heavenly experience. The love and care that have gone into this house is apparent--it's welcoming, happy and homey, and immaculately organized. They've thought of everything you need, and the owners are readily available for anything that might come up. When we arrived late at night during a major storm after a delayed flight, we came into to a bottle of red wine from the local winery and a warm and safe house that immediately felt like a home. The community surrounding it is adorable and friendly, and there are great restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you're looking for a peaceful and idyllic escape to restore yourself when the world makes you a little weary, this is the perfect place. We feel so lucky to have experienced this!!
