Excellent apartment in a great location

We had a super new year week in Mottaret. The apartment is in a great central location and is really nicely furnished. A good size double bedroom, nice twin and a bunk room. Two modern bathrooms and a good open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This is well above the average ski apartment. 2 mins from slopes, bars and restaurants and an easy free bus down to Méribel. Benedicte, the owner, is very responsive and helpful. We would book again and would be happy to recommend.

A comfortable, warm, well-designed and practical apartment with great views.

We were a party of two, so this apartment was large for us, but it would certainly be comfortable for 4 adults. With the bunk beds it would sleep an additional two kids in reasonable comfort. The decor is tasteful, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the bathrooms are modern and clean. Storage is adequate but not generous. Skis can be stored in a detached locker room, but boots need to be kept in the apartment.

Access to the centre of Mottaret is reasonably convenient, via the funicular lift from the apartment building and a 5 minute walk.

Ski-in: is possible, via a red run. We didn't try it, so can't comment on difficulty.

Ski-out: a 2-minute walk to the rear of the apartment building connects you to the last 100m of the red run, down in to Mottaret centre and the main lifts.

Benedicte, the owner, was responsive before and during our stay. If arriving by car, I suggest asking him for detailed instructions for your arrival and luggage drop-off - actually very convenient if you know where to park temporarily at the building and unload.

Overall we were very happy with our stay, and would stay here again if returning to Mottaret.

One of the best properties in which we have stayed when skiing. Excellent.

The property was exactly as described on the website with plenty of room for the 5 in our group. The apartment was clean and tidy on our arrival. The views from the apartment to Mont Vallon are fantastic. It is straightforward for competent skiers to ski in and out of the apartment block, but just as easy to take the funicular to the main lift area of Meribel Mottaret from where it is easy to access the whole of the 3 valleys area. The funicular also provides easy access to the shops, including friendly supermarket, and restaurants. One of our group did not ski but enjoyed staying in the apartment and found plenty to do in the area, including an easy walk (and sleigh ride) to Lake Tueda. The owner was helpful throughout and always responded quickly to any questions.

Lovely comfortable apartment with stunning views

We were very happy with this apartment. Very clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Warm and cosy to come back to after a day on the slopes. The views from the large window and balcony ( and bedroom window ) are stunning and must be the best in the village. Such easy access into the slopes and we had a car parking space right outside which made it easy for us to unload after a long drive. If we go back to stay in Mottaret we will definitely look to stay here again. The apartment is tremendous value and made our holiday very memorable.

Very good

Clean and tidy on arrival. Key pick up clearly explained.

Well appointed with all required utensils.There were four of us, 2 adults 2 kids (13 &11) so it is cosy but not cramped. The alcove double bed works well. Kids slept well, one on sofa and other on pull out bed.

Radiators fully adjustable. Plenty of heat when required but able to turn right down at night. Hot water always available. Good shower. Toilet is a squeeze if you are over six feet.

Storage is always an issue in small appartments but not going to complain in this price range. The TV and Wifi worked. All electricals worked.

There is a bit of orientation to do at le Tueda as it is kind of upside down. The ski locker is 2 floors above. There is a great funicular to get into the village (to shop or ski) or a short walk through the neighbouring block directly onto the slopes (Aigle).

We had a great time there and were lucky with the snow. The location is apart from the main part of Mottaret which is good and Mottaret is great, glad we went there instead of Meribel. We would recommend this appartment.

Confortable, bien équipé et bien situé

L'appartement correspondait parfaitement au descriptif, il est très bien décoré et possède tout le confort nécessaire pour 6 personnes (dont 2 enfants de 10 ans dans le lit superposé) avec 2 salles de bain et 2 toilettes. Le balcon est très appréciable et la vue magnifique. La cuisine est bien équipée, il manque peut-être un peu de vaisselle...

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et nous recommandons cet appartement, aussi pour son emplacement.
