This Unit is now available for lease and is showing vacancies for Winter Season 2016-2017. For years winter visitors have enjoyed this unit and have returned year after year. If you are seeking a safe clean environment then this unit will be perfect for minimum 1 individual or maximum 2 people.

Time spent in Apache Junction in this perfect little hideaway near everything local will insure the ease of your stay as you are close to a variety of infrastructure. East Valley can become the desert place you need for a rest, or that sweet reprieve from a chaotic lifestyle. Slow down for awhile, enjoy months in the warm seasons this coming winter, find out what delights the desert of Apache Junction and the surrounding mountain chains have to offer.

This unit is an easy drive to access HWY 60 and/or HWY 202. The complex is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations ... right around the corner. Fly in to the Gateway Airport if it leaves from your city and be at the condo in 10 minutes. Or fly in to Sky Harbor, a 30 minute drive on the 202 heading East. Either way, it is very direct find from the highways. A Courtesy Pickup from either airport can be arranged with the Owner for a small charge.

This Condo has been regularly updated to keep up with fashionable soft color tones and additional accessories. Fan and light fixtures in closet were replaced April 2016 with new LED lights. New carpeting was added February 2015 that compliments all the colors. Additional new paint was added summer of 2015. The deck was refaced recently - facing the lovely Goldfield Mountains to the NW. Spend evenings enjoying your supper on the deck. Watch the sun set over the desert and the Goldfield Mountains. Desert skies can be surreal! Pool is open year round so you can cool off after work is done for the day. The hot tub is excellent!

Why Kathleen Goforth chose Arizona

FORBES recently stated that Apache Junction is the 3rd highest place recommended to retire. Low prices, low crime and lots to do. This is a perfect location for an active adult. There are recreational things to do, you can rent horses, ATV's, hike the desert hills, fish or take refreshing morning strolls. If interested, there is also golfing, swimming and kayaking too. It is a fun area to visit. If you like a Western atmosphere, you can find it all around you. If you are here for business, the unit is quiet offering a good night's sleep and a pool to cool off after a day's work. Amenities include ironing board, iron, laundry facilities and Cable TV to relax in the evenings.

What makes this condo unique

Prospector Park is north of the complex, the AJ Rodeo Grounds are just down the street (events all winter), several grocery stores not far away, gas stations and post office, library, bars and restaurants within walking distances, and.... close to highways and to the airports (Gateway Airport in Gilbert AZ (10 minutes from complex) and Sky Harbor in Phoenix (30 minutes from complex). Sunsets from the deck are incredible, particularly in the winter. It is a very safe community if you are a concerned single traveler. It is so accessible that it makes your vacationing or work away from home an easy and pleasant experience.

Love Apache Junction

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was a gracious hostess. She had new carpeting installed while we were there, although we thought the existing carpeting was fine. We actually liked being in this 2nd story unit, as we had a view. The interior of the condo was tastefully decorated, very clean and the owner made a map for us with restaurant suggestions and things to do. We loved that we were on the fringes of the city, which made this unit quiet. It was even like being at home when the coyotes were howling at night. This place was perfect for us, as we were just minutes away from great hiking, which we love to do. The only thing I was worried about was no Wi-Fi but it was not a problem. We made the 5 minute walk to AJ library everyday to catch up on email. We'd definitely stay at this unit again and are sad it's already booked for next February.

Owner's Response: I just love the people that rent this Unit #2045! Everyone is so pleasant and this couple certainly were not disappointing. I brought up the issue of WIFI at a board meeting and apparently it is cost prohibitive. I will try to advise future visitors of the process to get WIFI from the library, or as you know now from this critique, you can go across the street to our lovely Apache Junction Library and use the library computers to catch up on your emails. There is always the possibility of buying your own personal net zero flash drive to have internet wherever you go! Thanks for the critique and please do come again!

Pleasant stay, but lacking....

In all honesty, we had expected this condo to have more amenities. We had to purchase such items as towels, an ironing board/iron, vacuum, cleaning supplies, set of knives for the kitchen and other kitchen cooking essentials. Items one would expect to be included when staying for a month's time. The carpet in the living/dining room looked as though it had not been vacuumed and cleaned for sometime. Thus for me cleaning the rug and having a vacuum was a must.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once we settled in and the owner was very nice. She took us hiking one day and that was a fun time. I understand she is making improvements to the condo. This will be good. A nice quiet condo community. It is a second story unit, so you will need to walk up a flight of stairs.

The location was great. We enjoyed hiking in and around the Superstition mountain, and we were very close.

The Phoenix area is close to many attractions and the beauty of the desert and mountains is amazing. We golfed often at Augusta Ranch in Mesa, and found some great on-line golf rates. The weather was wonderful!

Owner's Response: I am always happy to get critiqued from guests and try to act on items needed immediately. I put in new carpeting that looks awesome (will add pictures after current guests leave). I bought several more towels for the unit and provided current guests with a shared vacuum. I also added another lamp. I try to add things throughout the year when I can. I did add a NEW iron and Ironing Board for guests too!! Current guests wanted lights on the building so that guests can find the unit at night. I addressed that issue with the Board of Directors and they said it was cost prohibitive. They also wanted directions to the unit from the airport which I will also add to my advertisement or send directly to clients prior to their arrival. I added Cable HDTV as we lost some channels and I had a Medicom box installed. As the Owner of a favored unit #2045, I really do want to please and will address any issues that come up. Thank you for your suggestions.

The Multicultural Center is adjacent to the Quail Creek Condominium and offers a variety of exercise equipment. Fees are daily or by the month to use this facility & are reasonable. Great place to work out & take classes - a short walk from the complex - just across the street! Prospector Park is north of the complex less than a mile and a nice place to walk in the heat of the evening as it is well-lit. Baseball games are played nightly during the fall and winter season & you can join at the AJ Rec center. The Rodeo Grounds are to the NE and less than a mile away. Thousand of miles of horse & hiking trails. Various rodeo and other events are offered throughout the year. Fillys, The Mammoth Saloon, The Hitching Post, Skies, Red Dog Saloon, Dirt Water Springs and Cowboys Up are neighborhood restaurant/bars offering entertainment, food, drinks, and real live cowboys and cowgirls that ride horses right up to the establishment hitching posts and tie up! Fun western town to visit. Takes you back in time and makes you want to be a cowboy or a cowgirl!
