Didn't stay at place being reviewed. That place was cancelled on us due to maintenance issues a few days before our trip and substituted with a different location. There were no faceclothes to wash face and shower with, no bath mat in slick and slippery shower, no mat to step out of shower onto either .This was a creepy creeky old house , heater made lots of noise when it turns on and off , kids running around on 3rd floor each am starting st 6 am ! bed poor quality and not comfortable! Kind of saggy!! The only thing we could get on TV was a boxing match in Spanish! Apparently the cable was not set up or the remotes weren't set up! The screen showed the input as HDMI but when we changed it to cable it wanted us to set up the remotes! Too confusing just read instead!wont stay here again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Pros:

-Location was superb and offered easy access to local hangouts like Wrigely and as well as downtown via the purple/brown line. Keypad access made entry into the building and unit easy and effortless.

-The unit was well furnished and had all items required of a weekend stay for five guests.

Cons:

-Located along a busier street, there was a bit of noise despite staying in the fourth floor unit. The master suite in the back of the unit was also susceptible to excessive noise from the alley. Another minor culprit for noise was the freezer which buzzed loudly when operating.

-While the unit appeared recently renovated, it did show some considerable wear and tear. Areas most concerning included the linens and bedding which exhibited some holes and fraying indicating the end of their useful life.

Long Girls Weekend

This place was beautiful and very clean! Very close to a little bit of everything. The crepe place just a door or two down from the apartment was delicious! I was there during game 4-6 of the world series so there was a lot of activity. The only bad part about it was that the walls are SUPER thin. You can hear pretty much EVERYTHING happening on the streets. I don't know if it would be a problem with less activity but with people partying late in the streets due to the world series we were getting woken up at 2 and 3 in the morning. Also, they had no hand soap in the bathrooms so it was a good thing I happened to have some with me. There is also a Walgreens less than a block away for incidentals if you forget them. We didn't have any laundry detergent either but when I asked they brought some that same day. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Very neat, clean and modern property!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking across the street at the public garage was convenient although quite expensive. The apartment was neat, clean and provided all of the essentials for our stay. The neighborhood was full of restaurant and shop options. I would recommend this place for a nice city stay.

Great Lincoln Park location. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and Lake and parks.

Very Disappointed

This was our 2nd time staying in this unit. The first time we loved it. Location is very convenient. This time there was several issues..

1. Tried contacting management 4 times a few days prior and never heard back.

2. Upon arrival, the access code was changed and we were not informed prior to. This was only a problem because it was absolutely pouring out and my son and I were left outside with our luggage. Luckliy we reached management right away, but were absolutely soaked

3. When I did reach management, they apologized, but not very sympathetic.

4. When we got inside one of the beds was not made, sheets just thrown on top. House keeping did come right away when we called emergency number.

5. Garage pass was not left for us and no parking was available on street. House keeping brought another one

6. Someone else's hair in shower.

7. Shower bar fell down on my son.

Will not stay here again.
