Wow, a stunning mountain view, a game/movie room, and having air conditioner for those hot summer days at such low price! Cabins with A/C are very rare in the mountain community. The kitchen is not designed for a big group.

Everything necessary for living is included such as utensils, bedding, towels, and tissue paper. Plenty parking.

4pm check-in and 11am checkout. Earlier check-in or later checkout is allowed free of extra charge as long as there is no same day check-in or checkout and if you ask in advance. You will be given the address, the way to get the key, and all the details about the cabin via e-mail one day before your arrival. Your damage deposit will be refunded about one week after you check out.

You can also check out the other four cabins I am managing, listing #498393, #721641, #654413, and #699771, which are just five-minute drive away, if you have a big group, and you can get 10% discount on the second cabin you rent.

To avoid regret later on, make sure you click and read the Rental Agreement regarding penalty and cancellation policy before you finalize your reservation.

Very spacious and beautiful

My family stayed here for our winter snow vacation and we really enjoyed ourselves. This cabin provided everything we needed during your stay. Pots , plates , towels,game room, more than enough places to sleep, etc.. etc. The owner is very easy to work it , understanding and helpful. The place is beautifully decorated and feels like home away from home. The fireplace on the main floor was very helpful in keeping the main area warm which brought my big family together to play games and spend time together. The place is just so comfortable and you won't regret being there. The view of the mountains and hills is beautiful from the main porch . We are making this cabin our yearly vacation spot .

An excellent mountain getaway!

We wanted to share how much we enjoyed staying at this lovely house in the Lake Arrowhead community. The house is located in a quiet and beautiful section with an excellent view of the hills and close to all that is going on in the community. It is comfortable and clean and a perfect getaway for a family looking to enjoy all that Lake Arrowhead has to offer. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one an each floor with the bathroom in the lower level featuring a really great jacuzzi tub, a great way to wind down and end the day! The kitchen is large and well appointed. There is a really nice gas bar-b-que on the upper deck that we put to good use. The house has a large and lovely family room that is open to the two top floors which makes it easy for families to assemble and hang out. The downstairs has another nice family/game room so there is plenty of room to for everyone. The owner, Mr. Zhang is very friendly and takes excellent care of his tenants and made sure we had everything we needed even going above and beyond by making sure he sent something we had left behind back to us with great speed which we really appreciated! He provided guest passes for us to access the lovely locations on the lake and we enjoyed them tremendously. I highly recommend this location and look forward to visiting it again!

Owner's Response: Hi Hovik I am glad that we could reach a compromise in light of the inconvenience you experienced. Using a Chinese saying: "Human's heart is made of flesh (not iron.)" When something unsatisfied happens and you become hostile, you turn the other side into an enemy, you make things even worse, and you achieve nothing. When you express your complaint in a civil and reasonable way, you can even melt an iron heart. You not only make a friend but also achieve your purpose. I wish all our guests are as gentleman, understanding, and strategical as you.

Great Stay in Lake Arrowhead

Myself and 11 coworkers rented this cabin for 2 nights. It was a great cabin with lots of parking and enough beds to sleep 12. Some of the beds were a little uncomfortable is what I heard from a couple of my coworkers, but all and all there was a great view and really nice kitchen! I really appreciated Michael the owner and how quick he was to communicate with me. He also let us have a early check in and late check out. This really helped our schedule for the weekend.

Great weekend

Your cabin is beautiful! Thank you for allowing us to come earlier. That was very much appreciated! My daughter had a beautiful wedding. I would definitely recommend your home to others. Also thank you for getting back to me as quickly as you did. Everyone enjoyed there stay there. Anough room for all of us. It was a WONDERFUL weekend.!

STRESSFUL, DISAPPOINTING - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

MY SEARCH BEGAN FOR A HANDICAP EQUIPT HOUSE RENTAL. THIS WAS LISTED AS HANDICAP, IT WAS NOT & HAD A STEEP FLIGHT OF STAIRS TO DECK. I ASKED FOR MONTHS FOR AN ADDRESS BUT COULD NOT GET IT, I JUST WANTED TO KNOW A GENERAL IDEA OF LOCATION. ALL I GOT WAS ATTITUDE. GOT THE ADDRESS THE DAY WE FLEW TO CALIF. FINALLY GOT THERE AND FOUND A BIG MESS. OWNER AGREED TO GIVE ME A DISCOUNT ON CLEANING FEE (WHICH HE LATER TOOK PART OF) DRYWALL PATCHES, DRYWALL TOOLS AND TRASH IN KITCHEN. POWDER EVERYWHERE AND DIRTY FLOORS. TRIED MY BEST TO CLEAN. WE LOST POWER FOR 5 OR 6 HOURS AND COOKED HOT DOGS, HE DECIDED I NEEDED TO PAY $10 FOR GRILL CLEANING. BASEMENT WAS FREEZING, YOU CAN NOT PUT HEATER ABOVE 68 DEGREES OR YOU WILL GET CHARGED, ALSO THERE IS A NICE BINDER TO GREET YOU AND TELL YOU THAT IF YOU MOVE ANYTHING, SUCH AS PATIO FURNITURE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED IF NOT PUT BACK EXACTLY WHERE FOUND. STAINS ON UPSTAIRS CARPET, TRIED TO VACUUM THE WHOLE PLACE BUT VAC WAS NO GOOD. POTS AND PANS HAD FUNK AND MAID SENT ME A NASTY EMAIL STATING THE BEDS WERE ALL USED. THEY WERE NOT. NOT GOING TO GET IN AN ARGUMENT WITH THE MAID. I WOULD KEEP LOOKING. WOULD NOT STAY HERE FOR FREE. ALSO IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY MOVED THE LADDER FROM IN FRONT OF THE TV WHICH IS HOLDING THE CABLE TV BOX.....

One thing I did not mention, I was told that I could use the gas logs because the power was off, I was told I would not be charged, but I was charged $45.00 wish I had known, I would have let my husband turn the heater us as he was very cold the entire time. The last email I got from the owner began..."I guess you want to fight...?????" Very poor way to handle you business. I would not ever recommend this owner.

Owner's Response: I wish VRBO gives me enough space to post all the emails Peggy sent to me. She originally planned this retreat for her mom who had cancer. I told her she could switch her reservation to another cabin of ours which has level entry if her mom is wheelchair ridden. About one month before her arrival, she told me her mom had passed away and she did not need level entry anyway. Then about one week before her arrival, she told me "I am getting stressed out" because"my brother died if a heart attach a week ago." She was obviously emotionally unstable because of the double deaths in her family. To answer her allegations: 1. We do not list this cabin as handicapped accessible, but I still offered to have a wheelchair ramp ready for her mom. There are only ten mild steps leading to the front door from the driveway. "A steep flight of stairs to the deck" is absolutely false. 2. I told her the street name where this cabin is situated right after she asked me. We did not disclose to anybody the street number until one day before the check-in for obvious security reason for everybody. 3. The handyman was in the middle of repairing the wall. He did not clean the dust because of some miscommunication with the manager. I apologized to Peggy and asked her if I could have the housekeeper come to clear up the mess. She proposed to clean the mess herself and to have the cleaning fee reduced half, which I accepted right away. 4. There was a power outage of the whole region on that Friday night. 5. Our manual says very clearly that "there will be an extra cleaning charge if the grill is left uncleaned." 6. The energy overcharge is already included in the paid rental. It is refundable only under certain conditions specified clearly in our manual. 7. If you have moved the furniture, you are of course expected to move it back. 8. The vacuum has no problem. 9. The pots and pans were clean. Some of them may be old, but no funk. We have already discarded those old ones. 10. I did ask her if she was continuing her fight for that $10 extra charge for the dirty BBQ grill.

Cleaning fee is refundable up to 50%.

Saturday night cannot be booked without Friday night unless booked together with Sunday or more nights or unless Friday night is booked already by another group. However, single (including Saturday) night stay can still be allowed by adding 50% more on top of the nightly rate. Regular Saturday rate can be applied if you make the reservation one week before your planned arrival. Discount is offered when asked for before booking (fixed event of more than one night is considered to be one night): 4% off for 3 nights, 6% off for 4 nights, 8% off for 5 nights, 10% off for 6 nights; 15% off for 2 weeks, 20% off for 3 weeks, 25% off for one month; multiple month (up to 11 months) discount runs from 28% up to 64% (4% more for every extra month.) Monthly rate includes maximum $200 utility cost.

Our preferred payment method is eCheck. There is a 2.5% fee on both sides of us if you use credit card.

  • The cabin has enough beds to sleep 10 guests. Additional guests need to pay extra and need to bring their own sleeping bags.
