My home has 5 bedrooms and 2 baths. Upstairs has a balcony with beautiful view.

My wonderful home is located right behind Emeril's Delmonico in the Historic Lower Garden District of New Orleans. It has 5 bedrooms and 2 bath. This house was built in 1907 and is absolutely beautiful. It has a porch downstairs and a balcony upstairs overlooking the Cresent City Connection. Besides the home being in amazing shape, it's in a location that cannot be beat. Only a mile from landmarks like the Superdome and Bourbon street, and just a short walk to some of the best restaurants the city has to offer (Emerils is directly behind me!). The downstairs has a Queen bed, Sleeper sofa, and 2 couches that comfortably sleep 1 each. The upstairs has 2 King beds, 1 Queen bed and 2 couches that each sleep 1 comfortably. The neighborhood of my home is very safe, you and your family or company will be in a great area.

About Owner / Property Manager

My name is Matt and I was born and raised in the great city of New Orleans. I spent time away getting my degree and serving in the Marines. At the University of Mississippi I got a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management. I didn't know is at the time but a career in this field is what I do best. In the Marines I did 2 tours overseas in Iraq and other parts of the Middle East. I purchased this beautiful house in August 2014 and I love sharing it with wonderful people. As a host I go the extra mile to ensure my guests have an amazing experience.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Central City

This house has been in my family since 1997. It was built in 1907 and has had a lot of beautiful work done to it. Besides being it great shape, the location is what makes this property so special. The Lower Garden District is the best part of New Orleans period. It is very safe and very close to everything. The French Quarter and all the amazing landmarks are only 1 mile away! Its a beautiful walk or an easy cab/uber. They are great to see but its so nice to take a 5 minute ride to a quiet safe area at the end of the night. All of my guests have had a wonderful time staying in my home.

What makes this house unique

The location is perfect and there is not a home as spacious and nice anywhere near me. One block from the streetcar on St. Charles Ave and walking distance to the citys best bars and restaurants.

Perfect house for a large group!!! Must stay here.

It was a group of 12 girls that stayed at the house. Matt greeted us at the house and as we entered all we could say was OMG!!!! The house was immaculate, roomy, fully furnished, stocked fridge with beer and champagne, local snacks, and so much more. Matt’s enthusiasm and love for the house was definitely shown. He recently converted a room into another bedroom with a full size bed. Also he built a great sitting area in the back of the house. Added bonus his gym is at the back of the house and boot camps are available upon request. Matt was also super easy to contact when we had questions. Walking distance to convention center and great restaurants. We defiantly will be staying at this again!!!!!!!!!

Everything We Needed & More!

The property was fantastic and exceeded all of our expectations. Matt was an amazing, hospitable host. He was very flexible about everything and accommodated all of my group's needs. If you have a large group, this place is for you. The property's location in the Garden District is in close proximity to restaurants/shopping on St. Charles and Magazine Streets as well as walking distance (or a short taxi ride) to the French Quarter/Downtown New Orleans.

Awesome House & Event Better Host!!

Our group had an incredible time in New Orleans because the host, Matt, made sure to make it a memorable experience! The house was absolutely beautiful (the photos don't do it justice) and everyone had plenty of room! Matt also has a CrossFit gym in the back and offered workout sessions to those interested, each morning! The house is super close to all of the main attractions in the city so it never took us more than 15-20 minutes to get anywhere! We've taught about making this an annual trip and booking this house every year! Special thank you to Matt for being one of the greatest hosts that we've ever had!

Perfect house for a group

Had a great time overall staying at this location. Close enough to everything yet tucked away on a quiet street. Great for a big group to stay. The homeowner could not have been any more hospitable during our stay. I would definitely recommend this rental.
