By general consensus, one of the nicest rental properties on Rotonda. Our 2400sqft custom designed home stands in spacious landscaped grounds at the end of a very quiet no-through road. Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking. The gardens and pool are maintained every week through managed services.
This is our holiday home, our second home which we cannot use fully at the moment and so we let it when we are not in residence. It is an elegant property, open plan design, fully air-conditioned and furnished to a high standard, all white and ivory soft furnishings mean it is not especially suitable for babies or toddlers, especially as the back of the house is completely open to the pool area. The rear of the property faces southeast and has a large totally private pool deck and panoramic view over a small lake and the third tee of Long Meadow Golf Course.
The spacious master bedroom is sunny and bright with sliding doors to the pool deck, TV, walk in wardrobe, and a large en-suite bathroom that offers a luxury oval bath and walk-in wet-room shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, TV, 9’ wardrobe, sliding doors to the pool deck, and an on-suite bathroom; the third bedroom has twin beds, a 5’ wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. The great room offers a large sitting area with two 7’ 6” sofas, flat screen multi channel HD TV, and glass doors which slide away into a wall cavity leaving the complete wall open to the pool-deck. The larger than average kitchen has all the usual equipment (oven and electric cook top, microwave, and dish-washer, pantry/cupboard and a terrific comfortable breakfast area with a 5’ round country style breakfast table; there is a separate utility/laundry room and garage.
Outside we have a large south facing deck and solar heated pool and Jacuzzi, furnished with sun loungers, Caribbean sun shades, and a large dining table and chairs; there’s also a modern gas barbecue for those traditional Florida cook-outs. The area around our home is a wildlife preserve and you will enjoy viewing some of Florida’s traditional wild life and birds; binoculars are supplied for use by visitors.
Local amenities include fabulous white sandy beaches (Englewood, Boca Grande, Venice), Boca Grande Key is close by, a growing variety of restaurants at all levels; fishing and boating is easy to arrange; and this part of Florida is a golfer’s paradise with an abundance of great courses on your doorstep. High class, modern supermarket shopping locally, and a good selection of shopping malls at Port Charlotte and North Port (20 mins), Venice (30 mins), Sarasota (55 mins) and Naples (75 mins).
