We studio duplex cabins in a wooded setting with a seasonal creek. They sleep 1 to 2 in a single queen bed. They have knotty pine vaulted ceilings, log furniture, full kitchens, a flat screen TV, VHS/DVD player with free movies, sports gear storage, access to a BBQ and a hot tub on our covered bridge over the seasonal creek. We are not able to accommodate your pet and smoking outside only. We are close to several great restaurants with shopping close by. Free WiFi and Movies to check out.
Bob and Margaret Thurman the owners designed and built these cabins in 2001. They have lived on the mountain since 1977 commuting to Portland until 2000. Margaret taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades and Bob work as a school psychologist for special education.
Was basically the cheapest/nicest accommodation we could find in the area & was absolutely perfect for the price. Cabin was definitely big enough to be comfortable with a nice little patio & great heating. It was great for a one night getaway. With a number of good restaurants only a 2 minute drive away this is definitely a good option to be near mount hood
Clean house, all the kitchen supplies needed to cook great meals and excellent location near to lots of hiking.
I liked the setting right by the creek, yet close to Welches and the trails I wanted to hike. I liked the outdoor jacuzzi, full kitchen, vaulted ceilings and comfortable bed. The property was very responsive when there was a problem with a door lock -- they came out right away and fixed it. Nice work!
Everything needed available. Great time and great service
Overall, everything was very nice. The cabins have a rustic feel, but clean and minimalist. The woods outside the patio were lovely! I highly recommend it!
Cabin was nice, great wood inside and out. Nice features, only change I would make is walk way to hot tub and better lighting. Maybe due to no light we could not see a walkway but that was about it. Loved the antique look outside and features. Thank you.
