Enter from the world-famous Boulevard Saint-Germain, and you are there! This chic ground and 1st floor duplex Paris apartment is located in an historic cobble-stone laneway, and is decorated and furnished in a rustic French style - in other words: it's gorgeous. So is the view from your window-side banquette where you'll see the oldest cafe in Paris, Le Procope, founded in 1684 - Napoleon loved it, so will you! Did we mention the apartment is located in the very heart of the Paris' arts district? It's where many famous writers and artists - including Picasso, Matisse and Hemingway - called home. And now, during your next Paris trip, so can you. À bientôt!
A Parisian at heart, I'm an Australian living a certain 'belle epoque' in the city of lights. I fell in love with this town 25 years ago, and like good French wine, it's only become more delicious with time. I can't live without great food, one of the many reasons I moved here. The other is my work - I am a creative director at Disney. These two reasons help me dream with my eyes open! I love being creative, and adore traveling. Apart from Paris, New York is a favorite destination. Prague too. Travelling well is a happy obession of mine. That's why I have created a great place to host travellers 'chez moi'. Just like me, you deserve the best.

We really enjoyed staying at this apartment. Everything was exactly as described plus the place was immaculate and well maintained.
Camille is a wonderful host, who was incredibly accommodating to our needs with arrival and departure. Fantastic four day stay in a well equipped and beautiful apartment .The apartment is very near outdoor markets, shops and transportation, there is no better location in Paris . The rooms are light and airy, and the TV and internet worked perfectly. The kitchen is very well equipped .The outdoor market ,supermarket, butcher, boulangerie cheese and wine store store nearby made our stay so pleasant and really Parisian. The reception upon arrival was excellent. We can't say enough good things about this rental and hope to be able to stay there again soon.
Camille was a dream to work with. He was very responsive any time we texted him. He gave us ideas where to eat and places to visit. He had numerous guidebooks.
We cooked a lot and the kitchen is fully equipped. A grocery store is a 5 minute walk, as her numerous cafes and bars.
It's walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens and in the middle of everything. The Odeon metro is a 4 minute walk.
The apt is very, very nice. The design and decor is just beautiful. The king-sized bed was so comfortable. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was just the right amount of time to see everything.
Paris is a fabulous city and we felt completely safe at all times even in the Metro. There is a heavy police presence at all tourist spots.
Camille, thanks again for your warm hospitality. This is the best experience with a rental ever!
Thanks so much.

My husband, son (adult) and I stayed here for 6 nights. The apartment is very conveniently located to all the great Paris sights. We walked every where. The apartment is situated on the ground level on a tourist lane called the Cour Du Commerce which is very quaint, and as such attracts a lot of pedestrian traffic. This was not too much of a problem but as the living area looks out onto this street you see people walking by your window regularly so we closed the curtains when ever we we there. The noise, as suggested in other reviews was fine. What you would expect for this area and it was not too bad. There is a roller shutter on the window to reduce the noise, which we did at night, and that made for a cosy nights sleep for my son . We stayed from Sunday to Friday so the noise level was totally fine. The apartment is small which fine for a couple,
with a tight stair case to access the upstairs bedroom. The stair case did not bother us at all. The apartment has low ceilings particularly in the shower. We are all very tall so this was noticeable for us. Our son was a late inclusion which probably impacted on our overall comfort as he used the sofa bed, which takes up the whole living area when in use. This apartment is best for couples or singles particularly as the shower and toilet are upstairs off the main bedroom so the other guests feel like they are intruding.
Camille is a great host and communicates very well. He speaks perfect English and is very attentive. We had a fabulous time in my favourite city and loved the area that we stayed in.
Loved this typical Parisian apartment - & in the best location in Paris! The apartment is quite small but we didn't come to Paris to sit around indoors. Well maintained, clean & comfortable bed. Tip: big suitcases won't fit up the tiny staircase to bedroom. It can be a bit noisy at night, lots of bars & restaurants - but zero traffic noise - but didn't bother us -we would far prefer this location than a quieter neighbourhood that is further away from the action. Loved the tiny twisty quirky laneways in the area - far more Parisian than a wide busy street full of vehicle traffic. So close to everything & Odeon station 1 minute walk. Would most definitely stay here again.
We LOVED our stay at this lovely, hide-away apartment in the middle of Saint Germain! Camille (the owner) greeted us on the first day and showed us around and he was available throughout the stay in case of a question or just for a recommendation.
The apartment is perfect for singles or couples looking to be in the midst of Paris and specifically suited to those who are more of the night-owl sort. It does get very loud throughout the late evening/early morning especially on Thurs-Saturday evenings and with no air conditioner, you are forced to keep the windows open for air circulation. There are 2 fans that create great white noise, however.
The living room and kitchen are located on the ground floor of one of the oldest cobble-stone pass-through in Paris and across from the oldest coffee house still in operation. The bedroom and bathroom are located up a narrow, spiral staircase and has lovely windows. The decor is fabulous as Camille has a knack for creating a warm, inviting and chic environment. There are original wood beams in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom, which is just so wonderful. We are nostalgic history buffs, so to be in a 17th Century building was off-the-charts cool.
The shower/tub is a bit awkward as you cannot fully stand up in the bath while taking a shower, but we're on the taller side, so it may not be an issue. GREAT shower pressure and instant hot water that is plentiful.
We would not recommend the apartment for young children or anyone with leg, hip or foot injuries as the staircase could be dangerous.
The kitchen has all that you need: refrigerator, coffee machine, plenty of cupboard space in case you are a home cook. Also, there is a washer but no dryer, so you will be drying your items on a very efficient drying rack. There is also a dry cleaner and a laundromat around the corner in case.
We completely recommend this gorgeous apartment and thank Camille for his amazing hospitality!
This was the perfect introduction to Paris. Lovely entrance from an ancient cobblestone, traffic free alley. Quiet at night - convenient cafe's during the day. Would definitely stay here again (hopefully soon) and recommend it to anyone! Sylvana Dagostini
