The East End Is The Quiet Part Of GCI And You'll See Why The Moment You Arrive.

Privately owned and located within a well established resort, this 2nd floor fully furnished, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom beachfront condo at Castaways Cove features a fabulous ocean view from a private balcony and can accommodate 2-6 guests. It can be rented as either a 1 bedroom with full kitchen or as a full 2 bedroom layout.

Features include a King sized bed in the master, full kitchen with granite counter tops, fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. An additional 2 Murphy beds pull down in the living room.

The 2nd bedroom is a studio with a king sized bed, full bathroom and kitchenette complete with bar fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

In addition to both sides having separate entrances, the condo also features an interior locking pass through door. THE RATES BELOW ARE IN $US are for the full 2 bedroom layout. Rates for the 1 bedroom full kitchen side can be found under NOTES below the rates table. TO ENSURE PRIVACY, WE DO NOT RENT OUT THE STUDIO SIDE WHEN THE 1 BEDROOM IS OCCUPIED.

About Beric Evans

Welcome to our condo owned by 2 couples, one from Calgary Alberta the other from Parker Colorado. We have been friends for years and share a passion for adventure. The 4 of us have been diving all over the world but we fell in love with Grand Cayman. We chose this destination primarily because it was a safe, friendly Caribbean Island with very little crime, English is the spoken language, and the island has a state of the art water purification system. This is our little piece of heaven!

We chose to buy in the East End of the island because it gave us the opportunity to be away from it all. The condo is only steps away from the white sand beach and the clear sparkling turquoise sea. This property is a great location for anyone who loves to take in water sports or for those who want to soak up the sun. It offers poolside and beach front relaxation. Our condo also offers close proximity to some of the best diving sites in the world and the finest snorkeling to be found anywhere right outside our doorstep. There are three excellent dive operators nearby, White Sand (right on the beach), Ocean Frontiers and Tortuga Divers. They all offer courses to suit all levels from beginner to advanced. There are over 260 top dive and snorkel sites on Grand Cayman and the East End has 55 amazing dive sites to choose from. Our condo is conveniently located in a full service resort containing 2 swimming pools, tennis courts, gym, spa, private beach and restaurant with bar and grill. The resort offers an extensive list of amenities and provides great activity options. The concierge will book a wide range of activities including water aerobics, volley ball, wind surfing, deep sea fishing, kayaking, sunset cruises, nature tours, and trips to world famous Sting Ray City. Other popular attractions include The Turtle Farm, Swim with Dolphins and the nearby Botanical Gardens. This destination has something for everyone.

If you are looking for a secluded beach away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown, then this condo is right for you. You can wake up to the sound of the surf at sunrise or sit on the veranda with a glass of wine over-looking the crystal blue waters. Escape to beachfront luxury for affordable prices. The condo has an open plan living and dining room with double glass doors that open onto a private veranda. Our unit has cheerful décor and features central AC, large screen smart TV, complementary WIFI, ceiling fans and spacious bedrooms. We have stocked the kitchen with dishes, utensils and cookware. We provide all essentials including linens, pillows, blankets as well as towel sets for 2 full bathrooms and 6 beach towels. A local property manager is contactable through the complementary cellphone provided in the unit should you require assistance.

Enjoy live entertainment in the resort. The resort has a bistro for breakfast and the beach bar and grill both serve lunch and dinner. Subway is open 7:00am-10:00pm daily. Nearby restaurants: The Italian Kitchen (for dining in or take out - located across the street), Tukka, Eagle Ray Grill, The Edge, David's (in Morritts next to The Reef) also serve great food. Le Soleil Spa is located on the ground floor of Castaways building. Call the spa or book through the concierge. Ice machine located in the laundry room ground floor Castaways B building. Fosters grocery store is located across the road in the strip mall, all grocery stores are closed on Sundays and Cayman holidays.

Beautiful and Relaxing

I love this place! I enjoyed a 2 week stay in this beautiful paradise and enjoyed every single moment of it. This condo is well appointed, clean and the owners are kind and communicate should you have any inquiries. I am a repeat customer and will continue to be. I truly enjoy this location on the island. It is on the quiet East End and you always have a wonderful breeze and an amazing sunrise. With a car rental, it's easy to access other enjoyable places on the island. Having a grocery store, restaurant and beverage store right across the street is helpful. The resort that this condo is a part of has beautiful pools, a great dock and a fun and lively beach bar. Love the Happy Hour selections and specials!

Great time in nice Condo on East End!

We just returned from our stay in Grand Cayman and had a blast! Beric and his family’s condo was very nice and quite. We were looking for a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach and we found it. The beach in front is pretty & not crowded at all. Even though we had neighbors & people above us, we did not hear noise at all (something I’m afraid of when not staying on top floor). Actually liked the second floor the best because we were eye level with the middle/top of the palm trees. Also, the beds and pillows were very comfortable (another thing I worry about when going on vacation). Several great restaurants in the area and a grocery store across the street. Beric was very accommodating. He responded to all my emails (& I sent my fair share) very quickly. He answered 100% of my questions & sent an email with recommendations for restaurants, snorkeling, diving, & beach ideas. Highly recommend going on a tour of swimming with the Sting Rays and extra snorkeling trip with White Sand. They only take a maximum of 14 people on their boat & Captain Chris was great. Would love to come back here and stay again. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful Condo!

This was our 3rd time to Grand Cayman, our 2nd time staying at Wyndham Reef Resort, but our 1st time booking through a private owner to stay there. Let me just say, we will be booking with Beric again in the future! It was so easy and the owners were always so responsive to questions and emails. No question was left unanswered. We rented both sides of the condo, as it was my husband and me, and both of my parents and it was very clean when we arrived. The condo was stocked with all things needed for a week away (kitchen utensils, blender for tropical margaritas - yum, dining ware, etc.). Not to mention the convenience of the grocery and liquor store right behind the resort. We had a wonderful time, we enjoyed the amazing views from our balconies, and have nothing bad to say about our stay at the condo. We would recommend this rental to anyone! Thanks for the great stay! We can't wait to make it back!

Everything we expected from the pictures. WiFi was a bit sketchy so wound up buying an alternative plan. Also surprised that it didn't have some essentials. Had to buy more TP and paper towels. Overall a nice unit and large lanai.

Owner's Response: The unit is routinely supplied with all essential items and management is committed to make sure this doesn't happen in the future. Our property manager Barbara is always available to promptly address any of our guests concerns and can be reached by the cell phone provided in the unit. WIFI on the East End can occasionally be disrupted but the service is generally adequate based on over 40 guest reviews. We appreciate all feedback on our property as we strive to keep improving our guests' experience. General Manager/Owner

Awesome condo! We loved it! Can’t get a better view!

This condo is perfect. Has everything you would need. The view off the lanai is amazing. Can’t get any closer to the ocean. Two pools to enjoy. The entire resort is clean and well kept. Lots of stuff to do here.....snorkeling, fishing charters, snorkel charters and more. The ocean water is clear and super warm! Would stay here again and recommend to family and friends! Beric the owner was easy to work with and replied promptly to my emails. We don’t want to leave!

Property is in a great location, if you like your vacations a little more laid back. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Lots of good restaraunts in the area, lots of good snorkeling opportunities. We really enjoy Grand Cayman and would definitely book this property in the future!
