Exactly what we needed

  • 5 of 5

Had a great stay. House was very kid and handicap friendly. Safe and easy to get around for my 3 year old, 1 year old and father in wheelchair. Had a couple questions I sent messages and got very quick response. We attended a wedding at the crystal lake gulf club. The walk to the wedding tent was under a minute. Strongly recommend renting!

Nice house, very good location

  • 4 of 5

The house is nice , the view from the living is wonderful,

The only complain is that the house does not have air conditioning, and we did not read the reviews to be prepared for that.

When we got there, inside temperature was 86 F, the same as outside temperature. There was no way to cool the house. First night was very uncomfortable, it cooled a little next day, and inside was 79 F. The weather outside cooled on our 3rd day there and we were able to sleep a little better, but with the humidity from outside there was no point on keeping the windows open.

Also owner should install some blinds in the bedrooms upstairs to keep them cool , and also for privacy.

More pots (and better quality) for people to be able to cook if they prefer not to go to a restaurant, will make the stay more enjoyable.

Clean, spacious but poorly appointed

  • 3 of 5

The location was wonderful and the patio balcony view was great - overlooking a golf course with a glimpse of the lake. The house was very clean and was a perfect size for a family gathering. The owner was very responsive to our concerns and got back to us very quickly. There was broken fan and it was replaced in minutes. The kitchen was poorly appointed. There were not enough cleaning supplies to do a good job leaving the house clean when we left. There were no basics such as kleenex and only 1 or 2 rolls of paper towels. The furniture was sparse and not good quality and some windows had no curtains or inadequate coverings. If you are traveling from out of the area, as we did, you need to bring your own linens, towels, mattress pad, etc.

clean and spacious

  • 4 of 5

The house was very clean. The location was great for beaches we like, pizza, and grocery store. It was quiet and spacious. The beds were standard rental property quality. We brought our own sheets, pillows, and blankets, though they did provide nice comforters and pillows (without pillow cases so bring your own.) There was no air conditioning and there is no shade around the house so it was very hot. The deck was nice in the evening and early morning.
