This delightful brand new cozy light and airy apartment has its OWN TERRACE WITH VIEWS RIGHT ALONG THE RIVER VALLEY below. It probably has the best river views in the house.
It has lots of windows looking out onto the lovely pinetrees, the cliffs and the river which gives you the feeling of being surrounded by nature.
It is the smallest of the apartments but it is private and has a good-sized sitting-room with French doors onto its terrace, a television, wifi and DVD player, a good quality sofa-bed, a brand new open-plan kitchen with cooker, fridge and washing-machine. It also has a double bedroom with wardrobe, a shower-room with basin and a separate WC. There is air-conditioning and electrical heating.
The apartment is extremely carefully designed, full of charm and very welcoming. As with the other apartments there is constant easy access to the swimming-pool.

Delightful Provençal Waterfront Apartments each with its own private terrace overlooking the river, with large Swimming Pool. Les Loriots has breathtaking uninterrupted views over the beautiful River Gardon and its beaches below, its gorges opposite and nestles in the rocks in its own pine wood. The house nicely divides into four private apartments each with its own terrace and delightful river views and is just above the waterfront and beaches and adjacent to the lovely old French village of Collias.
Our aim is to provide a warm and friendly welcome to our guests so that they may fully enjoy this extremely beautiful place in full nature with fantastic river views, far from the noise and hubub of the village and yet only three minutes' walk from the village centre and all its amenities.
Allie Henderson purchased this apartment in 2002
Les Loriots is set among the rocks, pine trees and Garrigue landscape just above the beautiful River Gardon below and has magnificent views over the river and its gorges from all the apartments and their terraces.

Vielen Dank für alles!
Heaven, nature and paradise all rolled into one beautiful setting!
Allie the owner was very friendly and accommodating. (She kindly let us bring our three mature dogs, which was so important to us). We all enjoyed daily river swims and walks along the gorge. Lunches and dinners were taken on the terrace overlooking the stunning environment and soaking up it's natural beauty.
We stayed in the lower one bed roomed apartment, which was clean, modern and fully equipped with all amenities. There were four apartments, but privacy was maintained as each apartment had its own section.
The photos and videos advertising ' Les Loriots' are so appealing. However, until you arrive only then will you experience it's full beauty! Our only regret is that we didn't book to stay longer, so we will have to come back next year.
We spent two very relaxing weeks in the pretty little paradise at the end of august 2014 - and we will be happy to visit it again any time!
The hostess is very helpful and kind! Granted: It's a small apartment, but really cozy and without any problems for a familiar pair. The setting is lovely: Every day we enjoyed the view from our little "breakfast terrace" in the East and from the terrace in the west to the Gardon Valley - gorgeous! Everything was clean, the interior is cozy and the pool offers refreshment and physical activity. To whom the enjoyment of sunshine and quietness, the view of the valley and the herons on the river should not be sufficient, may drink excellent wine in Collias at the winegrowers "Les Cabotines", may drive to the nearby romantic Uzés and visit the colorful market! The kayak trip up to the cave La Baumes is a wonderful adventure, the Pont du Gard, Nimes and Avignon are also not far ...
We are happy to visit Les Loriots again! Best wishes to Allie!
Herzliche Grüße an Allie!
A little treasure overlooking the most amazingly beautiful river. Very clean. Very comfortable. Very reasonable price. Great swimming pool - you feel as if you're in the river as you see it just below you when you swim. Plenty of great things to see and do with Allie's help, who is a great host.
A wonderful little apartment, very cozy, with the most fantastic view. Plenty of outdoor life. Allie's always very helpful with suggestions. We had a most enjoyable week and will definitely go back.
Love this place, and particularly this pretty, cozy, light flat. At Les Loriots there is this amazing sense of peace and beauty. We often just sit and look along the river from our terrace for long periods and think how lucky we are! The village is just nearby so you can go out to eat, shop and drink in the bar without taking the car. The region has loads to offer. The Uzes Saturday market, Avignon, Montpelier and the beaches near Montpelier were all favourites of ours. We recommend it wholeheartedly. Enjoy!
The village of Collias has restaurants, a boulangerie and local supermarkets all within 3 minutes walk of the house. In this area of outstanding, natural beauty you can walk for hours along the banks of the Gardon. You can take a picnic and find your own private beach for a swim, on foot, by canoe or even by bicycle. There are numerous beautiful birds along the river and other wild-life. You can even see beavers if you know where to look.
Languedoc and Western Provence is a terrific region, just full of Wonderful things to do and places to see.
The magnificent Pont du Gard, which is the largest Roman aqueduct in Europe, is just 6 kilometers east and is accessible by car or by canoe. The beautiful 11th century town of Uzes is 12 kilometers away and boasts amongst its many old buildings a splendid castle and cathedral. The wonderful Place aux Herbes with its old cafes, shops and restaurants has a Saturday market which is one of the most popular and colourful in the region.
Avignon and Nimes, Montpellier, Arles, Aix-en-Provence, Montpellier the Camargue and the Mediterranean are all nearby. There are also long white Mediterranean beaches within an hour's drive, and they are less known and therefore not nearly as crowded as the beaches on the Cote d'Azur, 'though they just as pretty.
Other Activities: canoeing.
