Description

Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Floral City - The Lake House - Nature Coast

Lake Front View from almost every Room! Nature Abounds Us! The Lake is Great!

Welcome to the nature Coast. Life is good at the lake. This is the place you didn't know you were looking for, but you know your home when you're there. This beautiful home has over 2600 sq.ft. of living space. The back porch alone is 480 sq.ft. plus. This beautiful home sits on a hill overlooking the open Lake of Tasala Apopka the 6th largest Lake in Florida. The lot size is over 1 acre plus in the beautiful area of Floral City, a one traffic light town. You are far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday, yet close to everything your heart could desire. Easy access to highways to get you to Tampa and Orlando. You are within walking distance of pontoon boat rentals. The beautiful lake views offer all of natures glory, from the great blue Heron's, the Eagles, the Hawk that makes our backyard its home, and of coarse, every Florida Lake has Alligators. Movie theater and large stores are just one Town North. Good restaurants all around. This area is surrounded by state and national parks. When you travel down old floral city Road you will note the great planning many years ago as the large oak trees canopy the beautiful drive. Within walking distance of the home is Florida's longest paved bicycle/walking trail, known as the Withalacoochee Trail. Along this trail you will find yourself back in time that once was, lake side views, Farms, Horse Ranches, and so much nature that will just cross your path.

About Daniel at Merit Capital

My family and I have always been adventures, of all that's out there. We explores, try out new things, and love having fun together!

The kids were growing up fast and my wife and I wanted to enjoy them and keep them close by as long as we could.

The Lake House! This was it, close to everything, but far enough away from everything. Also, a great place to possibly retire in.

We just live 85 miles south of the lake house in Pinellas County.

Daniel at Merit Capital purchased this house in 2006

Why Daniel at Merit Capital chose Florida North Central Gulf Coast

Why this location, this beautiful home on the lake. Well, we searched all up and down west Central Florida, from the Gulf beaches to farmland. We specifically chose this location for its ease and convenience to everything. Also we chose the location for the seclusion of urban life. There are state parks, recreational areas, and beautiful back country roads all over. Where can you find a one traffic light town within 50 miles of Tampa.

What makes this house unique

What's unique to this property. Well, this is a one traffic light town that's within 50 miles of Tampa, a city that has it all! As I mentioned earlier, my family likes adventure. Within two blocks of this beautiful home is the Withalacoocee trail, the longest paved bicycle/walking trail in the state of Florida. There are state and national parks surrounding the area. We can hunt, horseback ride, sail, water ski, drive the curvy back roads, and enjoy all the local venues. It is motorcyclist or bicyclist paradise.

Nice place - peaceful

  • 5 of 5

Everything was as stated. Very well maintained home. Fireplace was great on the cool nights. Dart board on back porch was a welcome game to challenge us. Everything was there. Just had to buy some groceries. Very peaceful sitting out on the dock. Didn't catch any fish though. I tried, but no luck. Would definitely rent this place again. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Reasons I would recommend the Lake House:

  • 5 of 5

Hi Dan,

Reasons I would recommend the Lake House:

Loved the location and loved the small town

Perfect for a retreat, family reunion or just for a relaxing time for you

The porch is wonderful, and so relaxing with the backdrop of the Lake, nighttime or daytime.

The living space and kitchen is perfect for any event

We enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood, which is very quiet

The whole property is just a great setting and very adequate sleeping arrangements.

Thank you!

I have had the Pleasure of Staying at the Lake House on 3 differant occasions and would Recommend

  • 5 of 5

I have had the pleasure of staying at the lake house on 3 different occasions and would highly recommend staying there. Below are some of the highlights that come to mind.

1. The view of the lake from the screened in porch is always a great way to start the day or unwind at the end of each day.

2. Very clean and well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen items.

3. Nice open floor plan on the first floor for entertaining with 2 sitting areas and 2 additional tables for dining.

4. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city but not so far that you have to drive forever to get somewhere.

5. Great area for walking or bike riding.

6. Lots of parking with the driveway leading to the garage, as well as the circular driveway.

7. The lake is great for canoeing, boating, jet skiing or just sitting on the dock enjoying a morning sunrise.

Why I like the Lake House

  • 5 of 5

Why I like the Lake House

1. I really enjoy staying in the house by the Lake; it is so peaceful and quiet.

2. The house is spacious; therefore you are not in anyone's way.

3. I love sitting on the large porch and watching the sun come up in the morning, or sitting on the dock.

4. You can sit on the porch anytime of the day or night and watch people waterski or boating. Or you could do it yourself.

5. It is a great area for walking or biking.

6. There is room to have a small get-together or a large get-together, which ever you choose.

7. A very nice place to come and stay.

8. It has everything you need; all you need is your personal items.

Ann
