Nestled among beautiful Rhododendrons and large Hemlock trees on a one acre lot, this creek provides plenty of atmosphere for the cabin as well as the soothing sounds of a year-round mountain creek.

Just outside the cabin, enjoy sitting next to a campfire with friends while grilling or enjoying a gentle swing on the back porch. While on the back porch, enjoy the outdoors with a large four-person hot tub overlooking the creek. As an added bit of fun and challenge for the kids and family, cabin owners will send occupants on a 'rabbit hunt'.

'Bearfoot at Rabbit Creek' is decorated with all the tradition touches of a rustic mountain cabin. Upstairs is a comfortable master bedroom with a queen size log bed, satellite TV and a rocking chair, as well as, a loft for reading or relaxing. The downstairs bedroom has TV/SAT/VHS/DVD, as well as, a queen-size bed. Towels and linens are furnished.

Located in the Cherokee National Forest, adjacent to the scenic Foothills Parkway, just north of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Cabin is situated on Hwy 32/321, the eastern entrance to the Gatlinburg area off I-40/I-81 and is only minutes from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Dollywood.

We had a wonderful time at Bearfoot. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. The property was exactly as we expected. Thanks for sharing the cabin with us. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome stay!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay! Cabin was clean, as described in listing, and was also easier to access than other mountain cabins we have visited as ther oad to the cabin was paved. The location was was beautiful and quiet with a nice little stream in back. My hubby and kids even saw some crawfish in there! My kids were in hog heaven playing board games that were provided by the owner for guests when we came back in the evenings after our outings. Definitely would book again!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the cabin. It was very peaceful there. The kids played in the creek and they enjoyed the hot tub. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who is planning a trip to Tennessee. Debbie was very nice and very helpful when I had any questions. It is only about a half hour from Gatlinburg. If we come back to Tennessee for vacation I will definitely be booking this cabin again.

Great cabin, even better location!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first visit to the Smokies. We went to hike and enjoy the beauty of the area and wanted to avoid the tourist trap of downtown Gatlinberg. We weren't sure of where the best place to stay would be to accomplish this and not be too far away from the park. We just randomly picked this property and I'm so glad we did.....it was perfect! The location of this property is fantastic. It's only about a 10 min. Drive to the Cosby Entrance of the National Park, which has great hikes that are much less crowded than the trails in the main Gatlinberg entrance. We only saw one other couple hiking when we did the Sutton Ridge Overlook hike in Cosby. The Grotto Falls hike at the Gatlinberg entrance of the park was beautiful but was packed with people, even on a Wednesday morning, and parking was a nightmare. So we enjoyed the Cosby area of the park more in terms of being secluded and away from masses of people. The Strip in Gatlinberg was probably about 20-25 minutes away. Carver's Apple Orchard/Restaurant is five minutes away and it's amazing! We also went horse back riding at a Smoky Mountain Deer Farm/Zoo ( they were fantastic! Very nice and one of the only stables to take reservations ahead of time) and to Forbidddem Caverns, which were both about 30-40 minutes from the cabin. Everything was an easy drive. It's also great that you can get to the cabin directly off the interstate and not have to cut thru down town Gatlinberg.

The Cabin itself is easy to find off the main road but sits pretty far back into the trees so when you pull in you feel like you are really in the middle of the woods:) Our kids LOVED the creek and played in it every evening for hours. They also enjoyed seeing the cows walking around in the field behind the creek. The fire pit is great, large and lots of seating. The hot tub was clean and nice as well. The inside of the cabin is very clean. The management leaves starter supplies of things like soap and laundry detergent which is nice as some places do not. The beds were firm but I thought pretty comfortable. Kids didn't complain about the futon either so I assume that was ok to sleep on as well:) Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. Debbie was fantastic about responding to all of our questions ahead of time and during our stay. We had the best vacation and will only stay and this property when we return to The Smokies in the future!

Great Place to stay!

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was very nice and clean. It was everything you needed to stay for a week, except no toaster (so we improvised). The location was nice - not too close and not too far from the major cities. The rooms were spacious, beds comfy and wifi ok... but you must consider the area in the mountains. Hot tub was used and so was the fire pit to make smores - overall the kids had a very nice time!
