My husband and I came to Grand Haven for a little getaway after our wedding. Their home had everything we needed, we even forgot beach towels and they had them there for us to use! Everything was clean, very cute and nice, and very comfortable. We truly felt like we came to a little home away from home. We truly appreciated being able to bring our dog too!! We had a great time walking to the Morning Star Café for breakfast, taking our dog to the beach, and walking to dinner or seeing the town. They even gave great suggestions on where to go!
We had a lovely time and it was definitely because their place was so wonderful to stay in. I would stay there again!
The apartment was spotless when we arrived. Everything was wonderful. And they had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was more than accommodating and the bed was very comfortable. House is very close to train tracks but we never heard a train go by in the three days we were there. The location was great. Walking dist to downtown and a very short drive to the beach area. Nothing bad to say about the apartment or Mary, she was wonderful too.
Convenient, clean and practical layout. Charming home and quite spacious for two people. Warm August weather visit, so we brought a fan which enhanced the window unit's cooling ability. Cute décor, with some furnishing covering showing wear which was ok with us, as we were just glad our two small dogs were welcome. Communications with owner were courteous and efficient.
We enjoyed your place very much! I'm glad I found it, it was so much more enjoyable than a hotel. We took advantage of the location and walked everywhere, so close to downtown, it was great!
Very cute place and included every necessity possible.
Hope to be back again! Thanks Mary & Jerry!

We had such a nice stay at this apartment in this old home that was very well kept very clean and located in a great place. We had a nice restful escape and enjoyed the hospitality
We arrived at the home at night and I didn't get a feel for the exterior of the property until the next morning when I thought a train was in the house! No exaggeration, the train tracks are no more than 30 feet from the house!
Ok, besides that, the exterior of the house was rather homely. However, the inside was really quite nice. The space was incredibly clean. Like, eat off the floor clean. The house didn't have a lot of extra amenities. The bed was basic, the futon in the Livingroom was ok. But I appreciated for the price that we got a really clean, well stocked place for our children for two nights as we started our road trip.
The owners or mangers were attentive and very nice. West Michigan didn't have a lot of VRBO options, so I was kind of disappointed, but we were ok with the property. I gave higher stars because of the cleanliness of the space.
Many biking trails and State parks located on Lake Michigan shoreline in the sand dunes.
