Short walk to Boneyard Tasting Room! 1-Bedroom /1 Bath: Sleeps 2

Bedrooms 1
Space 500 sq ft
Property type cottage
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

Tasteful, quiet, and easy walking to Downtown and Old Mill

Quiet, cozy, retreat located downtown with a galley kitchen, vaulted ceilings, recently remodeled furnishings, tasteful decor, and kept immaculately clean.

Updated with all modern amenities: bright custom-tiled bathroom, queen size bed, TV, Wi-Fi, and kitchen with a variety of appliances and equipment, but limited perishables, except salt/pepper and sugar.

Perfect for weekend getaways, special events, families, or a friends weekend when rented in combination with the other two units on property.

Close to: Sparrow Bakery for their famous Ocean Rolls; Boneyard Brewery for the best IPA in town; Jackson's Corner for their casual eating; McMennamins for their magical Turkish bath or whiskey bar or sofa filled movie theater.

I tend to not approve splitting up weekend nights, but if it's important, I'll charge the non-weekend night at the weekend rate.

You can visit my other Bend listings at VRBO #590159 and VRBO #452048

Thank you!

Charming and cozy

  • 5 of 5

From the outside, this place looks like it could be pretty small and old inside, but the small yard is reassuringly well-kept. Immediately upon opening the door, I was delighted. The space, while small, is immaculate and fresh. The ceilings have been raised to follow the roof, so it feels more spacious than it is. The tiny living area is a little bit oddly laid out (the tv at a right angle to the couch) but the tv does turn, so you can improve that angle a little. We were in Bend during a hot spell (98 degrees) and the little ac unit kept the space cool with no problem. We were within easy walking distance of great restaurants and parks downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Great experience

  • 5 of 5

The accommodations were very clean and well cared for. Little touches such as nice soap in the bathroom and supplies in the kitchen were welcomed. The walkway was cleared and salted after an over night snow. The property is very convenient to all that the wonderful city of Bend has to offer.

The location was great, walking distance to almost everything. Very clean and comfortable place. Would definitely stay there again!! Only drawback was no cable tv just local fuzzy channels. But not that big of a deal at all

Highly recommend!!!

Owner's Response: Hi Robert, I'm so sorry for the TV trouble. You are now the second person in the last week to comment on this, so I will make a change immediately. I've always had cable, and only recently changed to a wall antenna and Netflix subscription, but clearly that was not a great idea! I very much appreciate your feedback, and I hope you'll come back again!

Close to historic down town and had a great kitchen

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed the house very much. The kitchen was great and the table was perfect. The only thing we think would improve the house is a chair in the living room that could easily be moved for the couch bed. Also a clothes hamper in the bathroom behind the door would be helpful. We would stay there again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for sharing your feedback! I appreciate knowing how I can improve for future guests. You are so right about the sofa, but since it's a fold out one, I keep it oriented towards the dining area; not an ideal location, but convenient. I'll try to work on some other ideas. I used to have a hamper but wet towels were left for too long and got moldy so I had to replace a number of number of things. Maybe I'll revisit that if I get more interest. Thanks again for the feedback and for staying. Hope to have you back again in the future, Hannah
