Awesome place! Excelent rooms and hosts! Stayed for 1 week for the HITS Triathlon Series on Lake Weir and felt at home. I highly recommend the place!
Our stay was filled with memories and relaxation. This wonderful home exceeded our expectations in every way! Our family included 14, grandparents, Moms and Dads and young adults. The kitchen facility is huge and allowed us to prepare large meals each day. The dining room allowed us all to sit together for evening meals as well. This was great! The rooms are tastefully decorated and transports you back to an era before our time, yet with all the amenities we're a comfort to and more! Evenings on the porch together, and all day at the wonderful pool were fantastic. We cannot say enough about this location AND the owners, who were gracious, friendly, attentive and allowed our family the secluded family retreat we sought. We are booking next year this week! Do not pass this gem up! You will not regret it.
Our group stayed for 9 relaxing days. We could not have more pleased with the accommodations. We found it to be so relaxing we were quite content to often stay on the porch in the rocking chairs. Plenty of restaurants and activities nearby. The owners are wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone of any age group looking for the perfect place to relax. We plan on making it an annual visit.
A beautiful property that promotes relaxation. Tastefully decorated, nice large kitchen. Bedrooms were awesome. Nice pool to have fun in.
My 60th birthday weekend with twelve family members was a blast
Sixteen of us sat for evening meals that we prepared in a large comfortable kitchen after spending our days poolside or hanging out on the wrap-around porch. We had expected to do some sight-seeing, but no one wanted to wander off. We were content to stay and visit with each other. Our hosts provided us with the perfect backdrop for our family reunion. We all look forward to coming back next year.
Magical house. Huge kitchen, lovely outdoor spaces and quiet areas to gather. Could not have been a better place to have our family reunion. The rooms are all different and interesting, with comfortable beds and lovely decor. Brantley made us feel right at home, and was available for any issues. This location is quiet and private, with lovely rooms and ideal for a big family of grown children and grandchildren to have a reunion.
