Kitschy, clean, and cozy cabin

  • 4 of 5

The bunkhouse was a great choice for a few days to share with my in-laws. The country location was perfect for wildlife viewing but not remote as the best winery we discovered was directly across the street. The small kitchenette did require careful meal planning and preparation before arriving but most travelers will find the assortment of tools adequate. The shared bathroom situation worked out just fine for our close family and the lower bedroom has access via a covered deck staircase for Oregon's rainy days. Overall we had a great stay.

Excellent place to stay! Very clean, comfortable and beautiful area

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at the bunkhouse. The property is in a quiet area of southern Oregon, off the beaten path, but within easy reach of Grants Pass, Medford, and Ashland. There were great hiking trails nearby at Cathedral Hills and delicious restaurants, bakeries and even a chocolate shop.

The bunkhouse was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay, and plenty of space. Back porch was a great place to sit and watch wild turkey, deer and various birds.

Definitely hope to be back soon!

Beautiful location and great value!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this sweet little guesthouse for four nights recently. It's a great location - close to Jacksonville, Ashland and Grants Pass - but, it's definitely off the beaten path. The house is so cute - very comfortable and decorated in a Western cowboy style. The owners live on the property and are very nice folks - they are available if you need anything, but they respect one's privacy. It's so quiet and the stars were amazing! We will definitely be back - we reserved for another visit in July already.

A true gem of a place!

  • 5 of 5

This place was exactly what we expected and them some. Perfectly maintained and very well stocked. We ( 10 of us) came up from Ephrata to spend a few days Thanksgiving time with my lovely niece and her wonderful husband. So, when I found this cabin available only 2 miles from them I was thrilled! Jethro (my husband) and I stayed at the cabin and could not have asked for a more perfect place and hosts. However, we spend so much time at my nieces house hanging out, we didn't get to spend much time at the cabin. But when we finally got back to the cabin after a day filled with games, food, laughter, craziness (in a very good way) it was so nice to know that the bed was a very comfortable one and we always fell right to sleep (snug as a bug in a rug!). We did manage to have coffee a couple mornings out on the back patio and watch the wide turkeys and deer meander across the property. The air was crisp and the view was beautiful. We highly recommend this place.
