A hidden gem, this beautiful apartment was built by a loving father for his daughter, who lived here for many years while she managed the storage business at this same location. Later, after we purchased the property, my partner resided here happily for five years until a medical condition compelled her to relocate. Today's property manager, Jeanne, has a home nearby so we are free to offer this apartment to the discerning guest who knows that it is not necessary to sacrifice quality and comfort when searching for reasonably-priced accommodations.
Like the original urban lofts, this home is nested inside a commercial building in a commercial neighborhood. The exterior of the building is laughably banal but that put-off only adds to the charm of discovering the sanctuary within. The interior is completely up-to-date with all the amenities you expect while traveling: smartly furnished, clean, comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms, plenty of linens, wireless internet, satellite big-screen television, central air conditioning and heat, a fully-equipped kitchen, access to a washer and dryer and more. Your delightful hostess, Jeanne, is here to assure your stay is a pleasant one.
We are conveniently located on a primary road with easy access in and out, just one mile from the auto beltway, ten minutes from Houston Hobby Airport and twenty five minutes from downtown Houston. There is shopping nearby to satisfy all your household needs and an adequate number of restaurants, including one of America’s top 5 steakhouses, Killen's, only a few minutes away.

We don't anticipate going back to the area, but if we were, we would try to stay here again. Comfortable, homey accommodations for a family. We did have a few issues with the A/C resetting to warm temperatures, but that was relatively minor. The outside steps are a little warped and uneven and can be scary, especially for small children, but we managed by having an agile member of our party lock and unlock the front door while the rest of us used the carpeted inside stairs and went out through the garage. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our stay. The owners were very helpful with accommodating our late arrival. We liked the location because we pretty much had a parking spot right at the door the whole time we were there. It's also pretty easy to get to the main highways from the property. Thank you for your hospitality, we'll be back!
We had a nice stay. Would suggest blinds in the bedrooms to block the street lights and neon sign. Otherwise, a comfortable place to stay.
Our stay was lovely, our apartment was close to many things so that was convenient.
Very nice and affordable rental with everything you need for a comfortable weekend getaway. This is also an ideal location if you are planning to stand in line for Killen's BBQ, which is only 5 minutes away. Amanda is a great host and was very patient and helpful with all of my questions!
