About Bryan

My name is Bryan and I have lived in Montana, in the Paradise Valley, for all of my adult life. When I am not exploring our property on Emigrant Creek with my faithful standard poodle and lovely wife, I am working in the Valley or Yellowstone National Park. I love this area and can give advice on where the best spots are.

Bryan purchased this cabin in 1973

Why Bryan chose Pray

I moved to this property in 1973 right out of high school. I was raised just a few miles away on the Yellowstone River. I grew up here and raised my family here. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I have been here nearly all my life and I still pinch myself to see if this is real. Thankful for this place..

What makes this cabin unique

We are off the beaten path away from the highway noise but only 10 minutes from highway 89 and a very scenic 35 minute drive from Yellowstone.

Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

Arrived about 4:00PM. Had provisioned up in Livingston, MT. By time we unloaded the car my wife had decided that we were not going to get in the car again until we had to leave in 3 days. Walk to falls was wonderful. Kitchen could use some help--but, we managed to eat well.

What a wonderful cabin!

  • 4 of 5

Perfect for 2 people with great views of the valley. The rushing creek across the road added to the tranquillity. Best to have a car to explore the area. We would stay there again! The cabin was perfect for 2 people and had most everything you needed.

Secluded getaway.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this quiet private cabin. No access to internet and phone was a nice break. The Chico hot spring up the road had a great Sunday buffet for breakfast. The drive to Yellowstone is just as nice as the park itself.

Lovely Mountain Get Away

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very clean upon my arrival. It is located in a beautiful area close to Yellowstone park and Chico hot springs. It has a cute yard to listen to the creek and relax. There is a short walk up the road to a peaceful waterfall. The cabin was equipped with all of the necessities to enjoy cooking in the kitchen or preparing a picnic for your adventures. The bed was very comfortable to get a good night sleep to prepare for the next adventure.

Cozy cabin in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin is immaculate and historic - its an old schoolhouse. The pictures on the website are nice, but don't do the cabin justice. It's much bigger than we thought it would be and we loved the living room. The room is attractive and the view from the large window is lovely. The location is ideal. It's within walking distance to Chico Hot Springs and is a short drive to Yellowstone National Park. The owners provided directions for a two mile hike that culminated in gorgeous waterfalls. The history of the area is fascinating and is described in a book at the cabin. In fact, there were several interesting books and lots of tourist information in the cabin. The owners are very nice and were a joy to meet. We highly recommend this cabin.
