About Bryan

My name is Bryan and I have lived in Montana, in the Paradise Valley, for all of my adult life. When I am not exploring our property on Emigrant Creek with my faithful standard poodle and lovely wife, I am working in the Valley or Yellowstone National Park. I love this area and can give advice on where the best spots are.

Cozy cabin in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin is immaculate and historic - its an old schoolhouse. The pictures on the website are nice, but don't do the cabin justice. It's much bigger than we thought it would be and we loved the living room. The room is attractive and the view from the large window is lovely. The location is ideal. It's within walking distance to Chico Hot Springs and is a short drive to Yellowstone National Park. The owners provided directions for a two mile hike that culminated in gorgeous waterfalls. The history of the area is fascinating and is described in a book at the cabin. In fact, there were several interesting books and lots of tourist information in the cabin. The owners are very nice and were a joy to meet. We highly recommend this cabin.

It was a nice and cozy little cabin.

The cabin was plenty large enough for 2 with everything you could really need for a short vacation. It was nice and secluded near emigrant creek. Highly recommended.

I loved it and so did my husband

  • 5 of 5

My husband was hesitant of the arrangements I made to stay here vs a hotel for the first time. But after doing so, I have to wonder why we haven't done this before. This was an AWESOME wonderful great experience for us staying here. so quiet and cozy and comfy and homey. would definetly recommend and we will definetly be looking to rent other cabins and homes through VRBO wherever we decided to vacation. we even had CELL PHONE RANGE!

Cozy cabin within beautiful nature

  • 4 of 5

We felt very comfortable!! It is a cozy and clean cabin with a full kittchen (some of the pans were not useful und should be changed but overall you will find everything you need) surrounded by beautiful nature. The picnic area for sitting outside could be a bit more cozy and comfortable, however. Driving time to the Yellowstone north entrance is around 45 minutes, Chico Hot Springs Resort is just a few minutes away and a nice option for swimming in a hot pool. Please be aware that the last few kilometers are on a gravel road, the cabin is really located away from the next village/town. We would definitively come back!

From first glance it needs some paint and yard work but it's cozy, comfortable and homey inside. The quiet and remoteness will bring me back for certain.

Couldn't be more happy with our experience at the cabin. It's very homey and in a great location. Minutes away from some great hiking in the national forest and 40 minutes from Yellowstone. It was very clean and quiet. It is a wonderful place to stay, and we hope to go back soon!
