La ferme de ma mere is a very well-equipped, extremely clean and comfortable gite in a brilliant position for exploring the magnificent Pink Granite Coast. Roland and Marie-Francoise gave us a very warm welcome with lots of information about where to visit and suggestions for eating out in the local area.
We thoroughly enjoyed the region, unspoilt by tourism. It was a pleasant surprise to find so little English spoken in such a beautiful area. A boat trip to the Sept Isles is well worth it . The coastal walks offer stunning views.
We visited two local restaurants, L'Atelier and Le Bleu Marine, both were very good but booking is essential.
We would definitely recommend this property.
The Ferme de ma Mare was by far one of the best places we have traveled to and were so impressed by the hospitality of its owners. Roland and Marie-Francois went above and beyond to make sure our stay met all of our expectations. From prompt replies to our emails to the delicious homemade galette and cider to the beautiful hand picked bouquet of flowers Marie-Francois and Roland were absolutely gracious hosts. They must have spent at least an hour explaining to us various sites and beaches to explore throughout Brittany. It was very educational and helpful since we had young children with us. We owe them our gratitude in making our vacation extra special and we look forward to visiting again in the years to come.
This charming gite is located in a quiet country location, but perfect for exploring the wonderful Brittany countryside. The property exceeded expectation, clean, well presented, down to the freshly cut flowers from the owners garden. We loved this stay and the service provided by the charming owners. We went with an elderly relative and the separate double room was perfect for someone with mobility issues, my Mum called it her Princess Room and adored it.
I would 100% recommend this gite and a huge thank you to the owners
My wife, family and friends in France all raved about the rental. The spacious areas and the rental was absolutely pristine when we arrived. It was close to Perros-Guirec and the beautiful coastline of Brittany and the many tourist attractions in and around the area. The hosts were very genorous with their time and furnished dessert and cidre upon our arrival. Would we recommend this rental to future tourists, absolutely!
What a wonderful cottage in this beautiful area of France, Perros-Guirec! We had all the comforts of home with a full kitchen, dining room and very comfortable beds and showers. Our host and hostess were very cordial to us and even brought a delicious French dessert for us. Having the separate guest for our daughter and husband was also a bonus for them. Marie-Francoise and Roland explained details about the area and the Pink Granite Coast nearby and showed us on maps where to go. They also had many brochures on hand for us to peruse. The farmhouse and guest house are actually on a farm and there is a pony over the fence who likes to have visitors! It is a fantastic area with many beautiful walks to be taken along the coastline where there are huge pink granite boulders balancing on other rocks. The area is known for its fishing and plenty of seafood is available at the nearby restaurants. Also you can buy the day's catch near the docks in the town of Perros-Guirec and other nearby villages. It is a serene and beautiful place to visit and we would gladly return to "Mom's Farm" if we get the chance to visit France again.
La Ferme De Ma Mere was by far the nicest vacation rental we stayed at on our trip to Europe with our children. The owners are responsive and show their pride of ownership. The house is absolutely clean and extremely well maintained, from the gorgeous gardens outside to the crisp linens inside. We were greeted with fresh flowers and a traditional French pastry and had access to numerous brochures and recommendations about activities and restaurants that were child friendly. The kids loved the miniature horse Eos and went out to brush and pet him at least twice a day. They also enjoyed the bench swing and the space to play in the courtyard or in front of the house on the lawn underneath the large trees. The back patio has a charcoal BBQ and a sun umbrella and we enjoyed many meals that I was able to cook from the well-appointed kitchen. Nearby, we purchased fresh produce and seafood from the daily farmer's markets (Marie-Francoise has a list of which town has a market on which day). The pink granite coast is spectacular for walks and for photography and was within a five minute drive away. It was amazing to see the huge variability of the tides in the harbour and on the coast. When it rained we went to the Telecommunications museum. The kids liked the Gallic village too. I was able to walk from St. Guirec up the hill about 4 km back to the house so that I could take in the magnificent sunset. If you are thinking about staying in Brittany I would highly recommend staying here!
Mom´s Farm, a charming gîte, is located in Perros-Guirec between land and sea in a very quiet area, 2.5 from the beaches of Saint-Florent, Trestrignel, Thalasso, Port de Plaisance, the coastal paths (Ploumanac'h path, a must-see), and shops. You can follow the GR34 from the Pink Granite Coast.

From spring on, the gîte is surrounded by greenery of the trees and flowers. Garden flora offer a relaxing and soothing setting.
The large courtyard and shared lawn between the gîte and the owner´s mother´s home create a playing area that children will enjoy immensely for bike rides and various games. The wooden swing attracts people of all ages.
