There are no crowds and need for clocks. Take in the beautiful sunrises each morning and make your own schedule of reading in a hammock, sea glass searching on the beach, walking on a one lane road between high grasses, biking off the island using the bike lane or boating in front of the property on the quiet 1 1/2 mile expanse of St. George Creek. The Ruddy Duck Restaurant is an easy walk with fantastic sunset views. If you are a history buff you will enjoy Sotterly Plantation and Point Lookout Park.

The property provides a quiet place to relax and reflect. The infrequently traveled roads lend themselves to long walks and bike rides along the water.
There is a one hundred foot pier with a picnic table for dining, fishing, crabbing or star gazing.
We really enjoyed our stay at Susan's place. It was comfortable and quaint. The location was beautiful. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Thanks Susan!
The stunning location of this property provides a lifetime memory and the owner was prompt and easy to work with. I rented the house for overflow of family and friends coming for a birthday party and was pleased with the result. This house is clearly someones home, it is not a "vacation rental". The good is that there is wonderful and quirky art and great furnishings... it is like going to see a good friend. The more uncomfortable part, is a feeling of being is someone else's home that you are working around rather than a whole house rental experience. The lovely pull out in the porch area is not yet suitable as a sleeping area due to the musty smell, but all other areas were great. For the number of people sleeping in the house (we had 10) the 1 plus 1/2 bath was a bit unnerving for our crowd, but we rented a port-a-john so people could enjoy the beach, fireplace, kayaks, and spectacular island without going in and out of the home. Our crowd was a little fussy about not having instructions to access wi-fi, having to share one key on a troublesome lock, and not having coffee on site; but with some foresight, and asking better questions in advance I could have planned for this. Susan was a great hostess that did make her self quickly available at each part of the transaction. We have no hesitation in recommending this house again for a splendid holiday.
very nice accommodations, fun spot right on a bay - great for kayaking (included) and crabbing, kind and helpful owner, wonderful stay
We stayed with some friends for a long week-end and loved it. The place is really peaceful and beautiful and Susan was really helpful. We had access to many extras like canoes and bikes which we really appreciated. Taking our breakfast on the pier or looking at the stars from the deck was priceless! We'll be back :)
We enjoyed the our weekend stay. location is beautiful and would highly recommend it. The bathroom situation would need to be looked at and for the owners protection if she intends to rent her antiques would need to be removed or put in a safe place
This rural area is loaded with small marinas with restaurants and live music. It is a destination favorite for motorcyclists and bicycles because of the fabulous water views.
