This condo is trail side to beautiful Burke Mountain and seconds from the Kingdom Trails, a multiple-use trail system unlike any other and recently voted as the 'Best Mountain Bike Trail Network' in the North America by Bike Magazine in their annual reader's poll. East Burke was recently named one of the 101 Best Outdoor Towns in the U.S. Enjoy the wild setting in the rolling hills of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom while you are mountain biking, hiking, trail running, Nordic skiing, Alpine skiing, and snowshoeing. Nearby is Lake Willoughby and Crystal Lake. Listen to the beautiful stream outside your window as you fall asleep by in the evenings.

Enjoy the four seasons beauty of Vermont from this three bedroom condo, perfect for two families to vacation together. There is a bunk bed room for the children that houses two bunk beds and two additional bedrooms with queen beds for the adults. The unit has brand new carpeting throughout, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, cable TV/internet service, and private deck.

This is an ideal location for all the Northeast Kingdom has to offer including fly fishing, boating on many nearby lakes and ponds, all levels of hiking, craft fairs, antique hunting, as well as peace and quiet. The Condo is right on Burke Mountain and a short peaceful trail to Sherburne Quad and easy walk for scrumptious food at the base lodge or hotel at Burke or access to skiing/mountain biking depending upon the season.

Come enjoy our home away from home and share in the fun that we discovered in the Northeast Kingdom. A two night minimum is required, 3 night minimum for holidays.

Maximum occupancy for our unit is a total of 8 persons.
Quiet time is 11:00 P.M. thru 7:00 A.M.

No campfires allowed anytime in any area.

Recycling is required effective July 1, 2015. The state of Vermont in mandating single stream recycling of glass, cans and paper.

Responsible dog ownership is required. Please clean up after your dogs and avoid leaving any dog dropping in the middle of the path or around the condos. Please walk your dog in the road or far edge of the parking lot and remove and dog droppings.

No Bike storage within our home. Please leave your bikes in your car or locked on the porch.

Cozy and Excellent for Skiing

We enjoyed our stay. The condo, really more of a townhome style, is right next to Meadow run just above the lower chair lift. Kids come and go from the slopes as they please. The steps and walkways are well maintained when it snows and is cold, as it was when we were there. The condo had everything you might need, including nice touches like coffee filters and a few tea bags that you dont always get in rentals. Jayne was very responsive to a question I had before arrival. The only quibble I had was that we could never quite figure out the heating system, electric storage radiators, which often had a Goldilocks problem of being either too hot or too cold, too much heat in the early morning including overnight, and too little at later times in the day. We probably should have called Jayne for some tips.....!

Easy, convenient and plenty spacious

We ended up being 7 people and it was very comfortable. The location is convenient for biking and skiing and everything about the rental was easy. Communication was prompt, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. It's all good!

We are a hardworking family that put our heart and soul into being able to have a property at Burke. We work long hours to be able to afford our vacation home and want to share our good fortune with others. As newlyweds, we wanted a place to vacation with our pets and eventually with our children and were often denied this luxury due to lack of units that allowed pets. We open our home to you for your enjoyment and only expect that you treat it with respect as you would your own.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Burke for the skiing and the condo for the peace and quiet. We rented noisy condos in the past and have found Wintergreen to be peaceful and quiet. This property is steps from the ski trail and the bike trail. There are lots of places to walk and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It is also convenient to walk to the base lodge or mid-mountain for dinner and drinks. We love it here and hope you and your family will love it too.
