Great fit for our family!

Thank you so much for the hospitality and the relaxing stay. It was a great fit for all of us as we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy family time. We had 5 adults and three toddlers, who loved getting to "camp out" with Grandma in the master suite. The home's location was even closer than we realized to where my sister lives and works and was extremely easy to find our way around town with the home as our starting point. The beds were comfortable and the decor was lovely and hip and a perfect blend of the culture of Louisville. Everything was clean and easy to locate within the house (i.e linens, broom, etc). James and his team were extremely charming and easy to work with and very helpful. So helpful in fact that James was quick to take care of any our needs even though he was across the country for a family obligation. We will definitely put this at the top of our list for our next big family trip to Louisville. And we would definitely recommend it to others needing something more than just a hotel. Thanks again! :)

In the heart of Louisville

We loved the house and James was a wonderful host!

The house is walking distance to one of Louisville's best restaurants and has easy freeway access. We used the house as a home base for a golf & bourbon trail weekend and it was a great fit. I feel like we really got to know Louisville. The house is very comfortable and it really felt like home.

We would love to use the house again next time we are back in Louisville.

Great Location - Awesome Stay

We were in town for a wedding, traveling with a group of friends. This house was absolutely perfect and saved us quite a bit in comparison to getting hotel rooms. The locations was perfect! Walking distance to a couple cool local restaurants, and just a short uber ride from many others! The travel to downtown was also very easy. Most of our events were downtown Louisville, and it was only a 5-10 minute ride, costing around $5 each uber trip to town.

It was nice to have a full house instead of being crammed in a hotel room. The house was beautifully decorated and included all, if not more than enough amenities, all better quality than a hotel!

James is also great. We were greeted with bottle of wine, and he was available for any questions and suggestions related to our trip.

Overall, a perfect experience. I would recommend to anyone travelling to Louisville and would definitely stay here again if we go back!

Clean, organized, well decirated

Communication with James, our host, was excellent. He made us feel at home as was available by text message during the entire stay. Very professional.

The home was well kept and well decorated. It felt like a home. The main living area is large enough to accommodate 10 adults and the kitchen, while smaller, is just about as big as you need. There is seating for about 6-8. The fridge was stocked with some condiments and bottled water. Dishes were clean and well organized. And the snacks on the counter awaiting our arrival were a wonderful surprise.

Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Big thumbs up for the soft toilet paper. Huge plus over a hotel. There were plenty of full sized towels but we only found a few hand towels.

The bedrooms were plenty large. The master features a memory foam mattress, which we were not fans of. Probably cause we prefer a very firm traditional mattress. We survived and it wasn't as bad as i assumed it would be. All of the linens were clean and even smelled a touch of bleach/detergent which was great! The master and "kids" rooms only featured wooden slat blinds. Our kids were up at the crack of dawn the first morning. We remedied that by hanging an extra shower curtain from the hall closet over the window.

Street parking was never a problem and the neighborhood was safe. A few blocks away however, you got a different vibe. The lawn was well kept along with the front and back porch. We didn't make use of the grill but it was there if we needed it.

James also had wonderful reccomendations for local eats. Hammerheads was fantastic. (A little "dive-y" inside, but it was packed. We waited almost an hour and it was worth it.) Check out The Post for pizza. And Nord's Bakery for delicious morning treats.

Not sure when we'll be back to Louisville, but we'd stay at James' home again.

Louisville With Family

This was an awesome rental. The owner met with us, had stocked the snacks, refrigerator with drinks and the cabinet with alcohol. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood with adequate parking. Easy access to the Highlands neighborhood and excellent restaurants. The owner lived next door and made himself available if needed. There were the basics needed for the bathrooms such as body wash and shampoo. I would definitely rent this property again.

Kentucky Home - James Wallace

This home was everything described! House was very clean and comfortable. It was very close to a couple very neat restaurants which was within walking distance. It also was close to everything downtown with 5 minutes. Was a very quiet neighborhood! James Wallace was very accommodating and was quick to answer any questions that we had in regards to location and getting around. He greeted us upon arrival and assured us if we needed anything to not hesitate. We were there on business in Kentucky and this home was less than 4 miles from the exposition center. Very warm home! We would use this home again if ever back in Kentucky and would recommend it to anyone else that may be in need of a nice place! Thanks so much!
