You will find your new home professionally cleaned, with plenty of extra linens, and everything else you could possibly want or need to enjoy your visit.

This rental worked out well for me, my wife and adult son. Rental is in good repair. Except for some occasional train noise, which was not overbearing, the local neighborhood was very quiet. Had an early Christmas dinner with my family at the rental. It had all of the kitchen equipment that was needed to prepare a great meal. Had dinner at Havana Rumba. A great Cuban-style restaurant. All-in-all, had a very nice time. Would rent this house again.
I met my three sons in Louisville to tour the Bourbon Trail. This house was perfect for our needs. The house is clean and well maintained. James Wallace was very helpful with restaurant information and offering suggestions on things to do or sites to see.
We enjoyed meeting James who made sure we had what we needed for our comfortable stay. Nicely decorated beds comfortable. Nice little neighborhood setting near to downtown. We would and may stay there again. Lots of restaurants a few miles away
We had a girls' trip to Kentucky the end of June. There were 4 of us and the house worked out perfectly. James was the "host with the most" and gave us a list of his favorite spots to eat and explore. He is very accommodating and organized. We walked the neighborhood each day finding different places to eat. The ribs at Hammerheads were out of this world, great gumbo at Brooke & Billie's down the street and an incredible breakfast at The Cafe. The neighborhood is in transition so there are some places that are pretty run down but others that have been totally updated such as this home. We felt very safe walking around in the day/early evenings as well as keeping our car parked on the street. The house was decorated to the tee and the pictures held true. It was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. One thing before heading out to do grocery shopping, check the fridge and cabinets because there is plenty of incidentals to use i.e. Coffee creamer, butter/margarine, etc. Can't say enough about the home away from home and the city of Louisville!
We stayed at the house for a full week while attending the World Championship Horse Show which was going on during the Kenucky State Fair. The house was just as described and was totally clean and well-stocked with bedding, towels, kitchen and bathroom essentials, snacks, bottled water, etc. We loved the fun decorating.
James lives right next door and was very easy to communicate with via phone or in person. He was there to greet us when we arrived and was super helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions to the nearest grocery stores, etc. The location was very convenient for everything we wanted to do while visiting Louisville. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.
We noticed that part of the proceeds from renting go to charitable causes--didn't notice this until we got home and read the description of the house again. What a great idea!
We would definitely stay here again if in the area and have already recommended it to some good friends for next year. Thanks for making our week special. (We weren't expecting the good-bye gifts when we left which were very much appreciated!)
Thank you so much for the hospitality and the relaxing stay. It was a great fit for all of us as we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy family time. We had 5 adults and three toddlers, who loved getting to "camp out" with Grandma in the master suite. The home's location was even closer than we realized to where my sister lives and works and was extremely easy to find our way around town with the home as our starting point. The beds were comfortable and the decor was lovely and hip and a perfect blend of the culture of Louisville. Everything was clean and easy to locate within the house (i.e linens, broom, etc). James and his team were extremely charming and easy to work with and very helpful. So helpful in fact that James was quick to take care of any our needs even though he was across the country for a family obligation. We will definitely put this at the top of our list for our next big family trip to Louisville. And we would definitely recommend it to others needing something more than just a hotel. Thanks again! :)
