Relaxing and convenient location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I, along with another couple, spent 9 days in this home. Rob was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The house was clean and welcoming. The house was beautifully tucked into the green trees with everything we needed! It was so well located for everything we did while in Alaska! We spent time up Hatchers Pass and traveled all the way up to Denali and then all the way down to the Kenai peninsula. Thank you very much to Rob and Lisa for the complimentary salmon steaks which we smoked out on the smoker. It was a blessing to finally get to Alaska and this home made this trip absolutely complete. You won't be disappointed:). Thank you Rob and Lisa.

Wonderful stay and hospitality.

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four had a wonderful stay with plenty of room to spare and lots of amenities. The home was comfortable and relaxing, loved the goody basket and all the other extra necessities of travel generously provided during our stay. Hatcher Pass was so close and one of our favorite activities during our visit. Thanks so much for your generosity and kindness. The pictures perfectly reflected this home.

Wonderful rental

  • 5 of 5

We rented Rob and Lisa's cabin for a week and two days, and they were really lovely--they provided us with a lot of good feedback about things to do, and supplied a few nice extras, including a DVD set about Alaska to watch and backpacks for use on a hike. The cabin was very clean, and in a great location to do an Alaska roadtrip--a nice and less expensive alternative to a cruise. We drove as far south as Seward and as far north as Talkeetna from their cabin. Some of our favorite attractions were closer to the cabin than the alternatives we had reviewed in Anchorage. It was conveniently located to a grocery store and a few good restaurants, too.

Great Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 had an amazing time in Wasilla at this great house. It was close to both Wasilla and Palmer so there was plenty to do. The house was a short walk to a beautiful river and just down the street from the lake. The owner even lent us his kayak so we could try to catch some fish. We took a drive over to Hatcher Pass to explore the old Independence Mine. The house was very well stcoked and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. I would definitely return next time we plan a trip to this area.

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

The home was very comfortable for the 6 of us. We had plenty of room and amenities. We spent a lot of time traveling around the area but our evenings the home were comfortable and relaxing. The tall trees and blackout curtains helped with sleeping at night. The owners are close by and very friendly. We had a great family vacation
