Spacious, new, pristine vacation home with spectacular mountain views

We'd love to welcome you to our 3 years' new, dream vacation home, custom built to accommodate families who love to recreate in the beautiful Colorado mountain lifestyle. Opening on to a spectacular 100-acre alpine meadow on protected open space, our new home is located in a newer community, Grand Park, which is located in the Fraser Valley at the base of the Continental Divide just 67 miles northwest of Denver. The Fraser River runs though the valley and along side the community of Grand Park. This valley is best known as the Colorado locals’ favorite both for winter skiing and for its diverse mountain biking terrain in summer.

Our pristine, 2600 square foot Craftsman-style bungalow combines spacious comfort with deluxe furnishings and spectacular surroundings – the perfect complement of features for a true vacation. It offers 3 Queen bedrooms and a 4th bedroom/kids bunkroom (two sets of twin over full loft beds plus a trundle) that sleeps 7 plus a private playroom/alcove to give kids their own vacation experience. The main-floor master bedroom is accompanied by a large, private deluxe bath room; another queen bedroom is also situated on the main floor and has private access to the hall bath, providing accessibility for four without need for using stairs to the second level. The central focus of the home is the light-filled, great room combining kitchen, dining and living rooms over which soaring vaulted ceilings feature a dozen+ windows featuring spectacular mountain views. Granite counters, travertine tile and other deluxe finishes add to the richness of the décor throughout. A large comfortable sectional couch surrounds the stone-faced gas fireplace and large, flatscreen TV above. In-floor radiant heat provides a warm, inviting environment throughout. The outdoor living space is even more inviting with sunset views from the spacious, covered front porch that also offers a great spot for watching kids at play on the quiet cul-de-sac or a nice happy hour spot. The even larger back patio offers comfortable seating and a new hot tub from which to enjoy the beautiful Grand Park meadow and unobstructed mountain views.

An oversized 2-car heated garage provides convenience and safe, dry storage for bikes/skis and other toys year round. A new full-size washer and dryer are housed in a “mud room” on the main level for convenience. This home has it all for a grand vacation during any season.

Nice place with plenty of room in a convenient location.

We had a group of 9. 4 adults, 2 teens and 3 pre-teens. There was plenty of room for everyone and instant hot water showers for all after a day on the slopes. TV/internet/WiFi all worked great, even with multiple devices connected and streaming simultaneously. The only drawback was there was only one TV. It would have been nice to have a second TV for those with different viewing preferences (but the good internet streaming helped make up for this). All of the necessary kitchen items were available and clean. Garage parking in the ski season is a must have for us. The garage had more than enough room for a minivan, a small SUV and all of our ski gear. Safeway is less than 5 minutes away and Winter Park Resort is less than 15 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Property

We stayed in this house for Christmas 2017. The house was beautiful and spacious. It had all the essentials (bedding, linen, kitchen utensils ...) we needed for our stay.

The house was clean and all the appliances looked new and worked perfectly. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of the mountains.

Did not have any problems with 5:00 am trains as someone else reported in another review.

The kids had a blast playing outside in the snow (sleds were available in the garage) and we used full advantage of the hot tub.

The owner was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had prior to arriving. We did not have any issues during our stay so did not have to contact her while in the home.

We loved our stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious home to rent in the Winter Park area.

This Grand Park Home in Frazier was perfect for the two families that went. We were 3 min from the grocery store and about 10 min from Winter Park Ski Resort, yet had the feel of a quiet mountain home in the woods. The Mountain View’s are spectacular from the home and hot tub. The kids loved the bonus room and fell asleep in there multiple times watching a movie after a great day of skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with every tool and appliance needed to make our dinners which saved a lot of money. When we did go out, we were minutes away from every type of food imaginable. I suggest Hernando’s for pizza. They had great customer service, a cool environment, and the best pizza I have ever had. Nancy (the owner) responded very quickly to every email I sent, and gave us all the information needed to enjoy the home. It went so well we didn’t need to contact her during our stay. If you plan to ski Winter Park, I would recommend contacting Nancy for this property.

Rail track 100 meters away (first train at 05.30am) and then periodically; no air con(upstairs rooms hot): bedding questionable (we actually went and purchased our own duvet); oven filthy and uncleaned.

Owner's Response: While we are sorry for concerns during your stay, it's quite unfortunate we received no response to our multiple attempts to contact you during your stay (or after) so that we could have addressed the concerns. We are committed to making things right for our guests so was frustrating to be unable to get enough information to do so for your party. We alerted our cleaning and maintenance crew given vague reference to oven issue but since issue wasn't described, it wasn't possible to dispatch the appropriate resource to address it. In absence of information, upon your departure, we executed a deep cleaning of oven, as there was no other apparent functional issue. Very puzzled about the comment on bedding; all our 3-years' new beds have high quality linens, blankets and bedspreads/duvets as pictured in our photos; same with towels, all of which we've personally selected instead of scratchy standard towels/linens offered by cleaning service; further, there is extra bedding in closets of each guest room and piles of blankets in the alcove off the bunkroom. Particularly curious as to the need for a duvet if you found the upstairs bedrooms to be hot. Because the average July low temperature in Fraser is high 30's F, air conditioning is very uncommon in Colorado mountain homes. Further, given the ample number of windows to be opened and cool the home, it's surprising one would need air conditioning. Railroad tracks run adjacent to US 40 which runs through heart of Winter Park and Fraser and train activity is audible from virtually every address (including on Meadow Ridge, our prior residence); fortunately, no whistle is blown near our neighborhood as with WP Resort, Vazquez Rd. and in town of Fraser.
