Top floor hosts great room, kitchen and dining area. Three bedrooms and two full baths take up the lower level, sleeping six to eight. An outside shower and fenced yard make this the perfect place for a worry free vacation with your kids and pets. Come for the weekend, or spend a week, this is the place to be, summer or winter, for the ultimate in relaxation. Great shops and restaurants around, with 5 golf courses located close by. About Pat or Steve

Home Was built in 2001, and was never meant to be a rental. But life changes and my grandchildren now live in the Wilmington area so will have a son and I daughter and I have three grandchildren. Steve is a full-time IT consultant, and i am self-employed my business is called Nana to the rescue. We. Wanted a home close to the beach and easy access to the ocean. And we have that!

Why Pat or Steve chose Topsail Island

We have always gone to topsail. we owned a condo at one time and we love this area. This corner lot became available and we went for the gusto. We personally designed it and I was present for almost all of the construction. A few mistakes were made but it was our first time and you learn. But, it is a great house close to the beach completely fenced yard and easy access to Wilmington and/or to Jacksonville North Carolina

What makes this house unique

A porch swing and chairs are on the lower level so that if you decide you want some fresh air, it's right outside. The top deck has chairs as well, with a small open air cover porch area with a fan. There is also a porch swing on the lowest level. A great place to sit and relax after a walk on the beach.

Perfect Location!

I wasn't expecting this house to be so close to the beach access. You can get from the yard to the public beach access in 30 seconds! We had promised my son a trip to the beach for his 6th birthday. His only request was that he be able to bring his dog along. The fenced in yard was perfect for the two of them! The house is beautiful inside and impeccably clean. The owners were very responsive to our messages and very easy to work with. We had an amazing time!

A+, we'll be back

This was a the perfect house for us (Grandma, Mom, Dad, infant, toddler, dog). It is as described and a bit better. The house was immaculate and we were delighted that it is very close (a short block) to the beach access- you can't tell that from the pictures. It is third row as listed but more like a second row home given it is on a corner lot and the height of the house- great ocean views from both levels.The roads are quiet and safe to walk with kids. The decks catch the ocean breezes and are nice places to hang out in late afternoon/evenings. And if you have a toddler, he/she is in for a treat with all the toys. My granddaughter was in heaven and the child has a few toys of her own :). The dog found the accomodations quite acceptable.

Keep in mind that there is no wifi but cell coverage is good- bring movies. Both bathrooms are on the bedroom level and none on the kitchen (top) level- if someone has mobility issues could be a problem (we didn't). I was surprised by the requirement to pay $100 for $5000 insurance coverage, my previous VRBO rentals just required a refundable deposit. This is listed in the description of charges, just a bit steep from my perspective. Likely a reason.

The owners are resposive and easy to work with, provided a nice list of places to eat and shop in an off line communication which was appreciated. Topsail Island is a very chill and quiet destination, beaches are not at all crowded- highly recommend!

The home was great!

Plenty of room for me. my wife, my daughter, her husband, and their two small children.

Two full bathrooms plus outdoor shower. No problem there.

Huge great room / kitchen on the upper floor.

Balconies / decks all around with great views of the ocean.

Only a very short walk to the beach.

Thank you Pat and Steve for the use of your very beautiful home.

We hope to visit again.

Great place at a great price and location

Great home in a great location on the island. Plenty of sleeping for our group of 5. Fenced in yard was great for letting the toddler run while at the home and for some various yard games (corn hole, ladder ball etc). Plenty of cooking and dishware to making those large dinner meals when dining in with a larger group or when inviting friends over. Beach was fairly wide open during the week but did see more activity on the weekend naturally. Some tips for 1st time visitors to the island would be that the central entrance to the island has a swing bridge which can back up traffic pretty bad but clears out within 15 mins I would say, so plan accordingly. Beach bunny ice cream just as you enter the island was great blue bunny ice cream and a projector that had movies projected onto the wall for the kids to enjoy. Seaside linen is great for renting items such as linens, towels, strollers and pack and plays, which free up valuable space when traveling.
