This top floor luxury 82 sq metre penthouse also benefits from a large 25 sq metre veranda, from which you can enjoy unobstructed views of the sea and Famagusta, also of course the sun and dining al fresco! The veranda has 2 electric remote control sun shades, a patio table and six chairs Plus two sun loungers. Each room is fully equipped with shutters, health filter hot/cold air conditioning and ceiling fans. The beautifully tilled bathroom has pressurised bath/shower with glass shower screen. The 10 meter lounge/ dining room has 3 seater settee, coffee table, 2 armchairs, glass dining table and four chairs. Entertainment comprises of 26inch TV DVD VCR satellite system for some home stations. The fully equipped 6 meter kitchen/sitting room includes oven, extractor, hob, washing machine, iron and ironing board, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, food processor and portable radio/tape/CD player. The sitting room has a table, armchair and sofa bed.

Owners details: Owners will call as soon as possible after your arrival to explain appliances and give any local information requested. There is an information file to help you find best restaurants, bars, supermarkets and tourist attractions. The English owners of the property live only 5 minutes drive away and are able to help with any problems. For stays of 2 weeks a towel and linen change will be made after 7 days on request. Please bring your own beach towels, all else provided.

Locals: You will find the local population here particularly friendly and welcoming. The area benefits from a very low crime rate locals still do not lock their cars! Hygiene and restaurant standards are extremely high, most food is grown locally and is extremely fresh. There are several tavernas in Kapparis that are 10/15 mins walk including one Karas which has its own boat for fresh fish. Major sports events including football,golf,tennis,Olympics are shown in the local bars on giant TV screens.

This is a very pretty area with great beaches and still a traditional Cypriot way of life in some areas. Many great restaurants and bars nearby. The sea is very clean and great for swimming and snorkelling which we both love.

Notes:
The apartment block is 3 storey with undercover parking on ground level. Access to apartment is by stairs to top floor (no lift). Although there is no communal pool most local hotels encourage visitors to use theirs free to generate extra income from bar and restaurant takings. Apartment is only 7 years old and is really a 3 bed made into 2 bed hence the spaciousness of the living area. Smokers are welcome but are asked not to smoke inside but on the large balcony. Wine cooler and cool box provided. 6 ceiling fans/lights throughout apartment. 4 up lighters with individual dimmers in living areas. Outside power point on veranda.

We spent all of 2016 in this spacious apartment which is located just 10 minutes walk from the main street of Kapparis where there are plenty shops bars and restaurants where we found the staff friendly and helpful.The apartment is well equipped with everything you require for a self catering stay with a large balcony with unobstructed views over fields to the sea.We enjoyed many evenings on the balcony with a glass of wine.The owners Mo and Chris were very helpful and dealt with any issues we had promptly and effectively.All in all we had a wonderful time and would recommend this apartment if you want a holiday which can cater for all tastes.

Spacious Penthouse

We stayed at this lovely apartment in September, 2009. We found a well presented, spacious property. The neighbours were friendly and the sunny veranda had seaviews and views looking towards Northern Cyprus. The apartment was very clean and extremely comfortable, a true home from home. Local shops were just a 5 minute walk, as well as the local beach. The resort of Protaras and Fig Tree Bay are only 5 minutes by car. We will certainly be back for another holiday.

goodbye package holidays

We were slightly nervous as it was our first private rental holiday. We had no need to be ! The apartement was exactly as described in the advert.The views were stunning, the facilities were all new or clean, the extras we found were a bonus.For us the location was perfect, nice and quite and very relaxing,chris came twice at the begining and the end of our holiday but was only a call away if needed.

3 weeks Holiday

I chose this property for a 3 week holiday with my wife due to the description of location and facilities as we wished to spend an easy going three weeks. Our expectations were exceeded as the apartment is extremely spacious and is equipped to a very high level. The awnings provided plenty of shade (which was needed in the 35 degrees plus) which made sitting out a pleasurable experience. The UPVC shutters and windows also stopped the interior becoming too hot to the extent the air con is only needed for a couple of hours when the heat becomes "heavier" at night. The view is exactly as shown in the advertisement from any part of the balcony and not some obscure angle. All appliances worked perfectly and the owner Chris made himself available without being intrusive to provide information and ensure all in the property was working fine. There is little else I can say about the apartment except that all around was very quiet due I suspect to many similar properties being second homes.

The apartment is only 10 minutes walk to the tourist strip where there are few bars and restaurants if you want to have a drink without taking a car. There is an Indian and Chinses restaurant plus the normal tavernas through to the one "higher" grade restaurant called Faliros.

The nearest beach is just about walkable for adults but not for quite young children. There are many nice sandy beaches (some with watersports) in short driving distances all run by the local Council which provide sunbeds and parasols to a very a high standard. There are also easily reached flat rock coves and headlands if you want to avoid the busier beaches. Protaras and Agia Napa are 10/15 minutes drive away respectively if you want to experience livelier resorts with Protaras being more family orientated.

It's also worth driving longer distances circa 1 hour to see Nicosia and Larnaka and there are also many other attractions which you will find in guidebooks according to tastes.

A car is essential if staying for over a week to allow you to get around as the bus service is almost non-existent and Taxis are very expensive. Using an online an agent the cost of hiring a medium size car with Air Con provided by a major rental company for 3 weeks was very cheap (much cheaper than the UK) which included all insurances(pick-up and drop-off Larnaca Airport).

I would recommend this apartment and area to friends for any type of holida - beach, sight seeing, relaxing or a mixture of all three.

Total Bliss

This is the third time we have rented the apartment and each time it gets better. Our holidays have been wonderful in this peaceful yet easily accesible location. It now feels more like a home from home. There is everything you could possibly want within the apartment. The location, space, cleanliness, comfort of the apartment is great. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Cyprus.

Bel appartement tout confort, bien équipé

Très bel appartement, 4/5 kms de Protaras. A notre sens plus paisible et même mieux situé que Protaras et surtout plus authentique qu'Agia Napa). Jolie plage de sable à 500m avec eau cristalline, propre et pas saturée. Plusieurs autres criques/plages sympathiques à proximités. Plusieurs bons restaurants à moins de 1kms ex. Faliros qui sert une cuisine variée avec en prime soirée musicale Chypriote les vendredi et samedi soir. Appartement trés bien entretenu, très bien équipé. Propriétaire soucieux du détail et du service. Idéalement placé pour visiter la côte Est. (Protaras, Agia Napa, Paralimni, Cap Greko, vestiges et monastères, jolies villages authentiques ou l'on peut savourer de bons plats chypriotes ex. Sotira ou Liopetri. Voiture indispensable. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans ce logement si l'occasion se présente à nouveau.

Apartment is located in quiet side road in Kapparis yet is only 10mins walk from local nightlife strip where several excellent restaurants and bars stay open all year long as well as a large supermarket. Nearest sandy beach is a 15 minute walk (800metres) away. The larger beach resort of Protaras with many extra attractions i.e. crazy golf, bowling is a 10 minute drive or bus ride away. The nightlife, water park and famous Nissi beach area of Agia Napa is about 15 mins drive away. Picturesque village of Paralimni with its squares, churches and all year round tavernas is only 10 mins drive away. Nearly all the local beaches have strictly controlled water sports facilities, all have the blue flag EEC award. Ideally placed to explore local areas including north of Cyprus.
