Spacious multi-level end unit townhome closest to the beach, located in the ocean block of south Dewey Beach, Delaware. Features beautiful ocean and bay views.
The townhome features three floors, with two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the first floor, and two bedrooms on the third floor, each with their own full bathroom. The second floor features an expansive living room, dining room with seating for eight persons, a fully equipped kitchen, wet bar and powder room.
The first floor bedrooms feature one queen bed and two twin beds, while the third floor bedrooms feature one king bed and one queen bed.
The first floor features a full bathroom with shower, while the third floor features a full en-suite bathroom for each bedroom, each with bathtub and shower, with a Jacuzzi unit in the bathtub in the master bedroom bathroom.
There are front and back decks on every floor, with outdoor deck furniture, providing beautiful ocean and bay views from the third floor. The second floor deck adjacent to the living room features patio furniture with table and multiple chairs, including an umbrella.
The townhome was extensively renovated in 2014, with interior painting, all new kitchen appliances, wood floors, carpeting on the first and second floors, selected furniture, the majority of the mattresses, curtains, artwork and accessories. In addition, a 55 inch HDTV flat screen has been installed in the living room, with 40 inch HDTV flat screens in the third floor bedrooms, and 32 inch HDTV flat screens in the first floor bedrooms. Triple play cable television, internet access and telephony has been installed in 2014, featuring 50MB download speed wireless broadband access.
The townhome features a clothes washer and dryer, central air-conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, and an enclosed outdoor shower. Beach chairs, umbrellas and some children's beach toys are available for tenants to use, stored in the enclosed outside shower.
Other amenities include dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, over-range microwave oven, toaster, vacuum, disposal, ice maker, and a second refrigerator for storage of cold drinks, near the wet bar.
The townhome rental includes two off-street private parking spaces in our private parking lot located behind the townhome complex, with easy access and exit on either side of the complex.
The townhome is conveniently located in a quiet residential section of South Dewey Beach, while still within easy walking distance of all Dewey Beach restaurants and nigthclubs located in the ocean and bay blocks.
The Stewart family purchased the large parcel of land that the Ocean Five town home complex now occupies, in 1962. In 1984, the original small cottage that sat on that piece of land was moved to a new location, and the five town homes were built. Since 1984, the family sold 4 of the town homes, but kept the one closest to the beach. The Stewart family has passed the property thru three generations, and continues the original ownership.

This is a beautiful, three story town home, located within steps of the beach and bay. Its south Dewey location gives you easy access to the restaurants and nightclubs of Dewey Beach, while still providing peace, quiet and closeness to nature.
The town home location provides peace and seclusion, while also offering immediate access to the many restaurants and night life of Dewey Beach. Even though the town home is immediately adjacent to all of the resturants and bars, the south Dewey Beach location of the town home provides for peace and quiet when you want it.
Several miles of clean, guarded beaches are available steps from the town home. There are major boardwalks in both Rehoboth Beach (1 mile to the north), and Ocean City, Maryland (8 miles to the south). The narrow strip of land the town home is located on, gives immediate access to both the Atlantic Ocean and Rehoboth Bay. Fishing, boating, and water skiing are available on both the ocean side and the bay side.
