Former silk culture from the 18th Century, fully restored with pool

Upon arrival we were extremely disappointed to discover that the English website that we had booked through had made no mention that the 2 bedrooms were connecting and the only access to bedroom 2 was through bedroom 1. This was a totally unacceptable situation for 2 adult couples who were travelling together. For a family with children it could be ideal.

However we very much appreciated the kindness of the owner in quickly making available and preparing their own ground floor en-suite guest room for us at short notice.

This has obviously been a problem in the past as we read a similar comment from 2013 in the Visitors Book.

To avoid a similar embarrassing situation re-occurring we would advise that booking web site should be amended to clarify the description. There is also no DVD player as stated.

However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful 1st floor gîte which was very clean and well maintained and there are delightful gardens and swimming pool.

The location was ideal for touring the stunningly beautiful Luberon area with its many hillside towns as well as being very convenient for visiting the not to be missed historical town of Avignon.

Our week just flew past.
