Keep garbage covered and indoors. A dumpster for recycling and garbage is available at the Long Lake Town Dock. If you carry it in, carry it out.

This property has been in our family for many generations and our available property was built in 2002. We call it Camp Ava because it's Abbie, Vickie and Alex. Camp is home away from home and we want you to love it as much as we do. Countless summer memories on the paddle boat, climbing mountains, fishing, skipping rocks, climbing the rocks along the shore line, napping in the hammock, playing games and singing by the campfire at night.
Vickie Sandiford purchased this cabin in 1959
We've summered on this property for generations. The peaceful sunsets, the call of the loon, the escape from urban living. We learned to swim and fish and cook out and make smores at the campfire.
If you are truly looking for a getaway, this is the place. The closest neighbors are nearby, but not visible from our property.
If you are looking to get totally off the grid and relax, this is the place. Only reachable by boat, there is no electricity, and no roads, a great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin was comfortable, sleeping all three of us, plus our dog. I highly recommend early morning coffee on the porch, watching the sky lighten as the sun rises. And the night sky with all the stars is SPECTACULAR!!! A perfect place to get back to nature.
We truly enjoyed our week at the camp. Its very spacious and comfortable. We are a family of 7 and we brought our 3 dogs. Everyone had a great time! Spent most of our hours relaxing on the dock on the water! Lots of loons around! Highly recommend.
This property is an incredible getaway . The house is located at one of the widest and deepest points of the lake, and if you like nature and are looking to get away from the rest of world, this is your spot. It has beautiful views and probably the best viewing deck on the lake for sunset. The property does not have electricity but who could tell with the wonderful set up of propane lamps throughout the house.
We wanted to get away and that we did! What a great place. Dining on the screened porch in the wild was delightful. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The kitchen is bigger than the one we have at home and in great condition. We brought a cooler for drinks. The refrigerator is small, but sufficient for food. Dogs are welcome and it was great to be able to bring ours. We will be back! The Northville Placid Trail is 5 minutes from the camp which was great for day hikes.
The house looks nothing like the photos. The place appeared to never be cleaned. You don't even want to think about laying or sitting on any upholstered furniture. The cot had a mouse nest in it and the mattresses were absolutely filthy!Mice were everywhere.Too bad because it could be a beautiful place but I just can't understand how anyone could live with such filth.
