This beautifully appointed and updated 1 bedroom is conveniently located in the main building of Mountain Thunder Lodge. This means skiing into the property is a breeze and does not require any additional walking to another building further out. Located DIRECTLY on the ski run just before the gondola! There are hot tubs, a fitness room, free laundry facilities, out door grill and ski lockers on the ground floor. A beautiful pool, additional hot tubs, a children's play area (summer) a second fitness room are all located in the building next door.
The Lodge provides a complimentary shuttle anywhere in town whether is to just across the street to the gondola in the morning and they can also pick you up or take you anywhere in town.
As our guest at the lodge, you also have access to the amenities at their sister property, One Ski Hill Place at the base of Peak 8. Kids will LOVE the indoor bowling alley! You also have access also to the aquatics center, billiards room and media center and other great features.

We LOVE Breckenridge and have spent many summers and winters enjoying all the wonderful activities it has to offer. We've been opening our 'mountain hideaways' to guests for several years. Unlike hotels and management companies who often employ seasonal workers that are not as familiar with the town, with us you will receive a virtual packet with suggestions for activities, money saving discounts, restaurants and more....all from experienced owners. Our 12 and 7 year olds have been skiing since they were in diapers so as mom, I'm happy give you plenty of child friendly advice!
Additionally, keep in mind there can be a disparity among different units in terms of quality, upkeep and views. When renting from hotels and management companies you will never know what quality of unit you are receiving even if you put in a special request. You can relax knowing that you will be staying in an upscale condo with beautiful views and a great location in town.
We have partnered with a local management company in case of emergencies and they are available 24/7.

Our condo is 625 sq feet. It faces mainly south and received plenty of sunshine through out the day. Large windows and a generous balcony bring the outdoors to you. Views are of Mt Baldy, Peak 10, alpine trees and the main entrance

Your owners are Jim, Tanya and our 2 sons, 11 and 6. We've lived abroad in both New Zealand and Latvia and love to travel. Some of the best memories we've had are through these experiences which is why we love to come to Breckenridge. We love the outdoors as does our 11 year old who is probably the only one in his class that knows that the best gondolas and chairlifts are made in Switzerland! We are happy to share our knowledge of the town and answer any questions you may have to make your stay with us the best it can be.
There's a saying in Texas, 'I wasn't born here but I got here as fast as I could.' Well, we feel the same way about Colorado. We would find ourselves coming back to Colorado year after year and Breckenridge always seemed to top our list. It has a little bit of everything one looks for in a mountain destination. Historical charm, great mountains and views, amazing restaurants and shopping, tons of activities for not only adults but kids too. Not to mention easier accessibility from both Denver and Colorado Springs, with less major passes to overcome than with Vail. It was the logical choice for us to choose a place where we could create family memories during the four beautiful seasons Breckenridge has to offer and we are delighted to be able to share our mountain hideaway with you too.

The condo was everything we expected; comfortable, well equipped and convenient. We were there during unseasonably warm weather and enjoyed coming back to the sunny balcony to enjoy the view when the snow had become soft in the early afternoon (we're not extreme high mountain skiers) . It was only a short walk to the gondola and Main Street, plus the City Market was only a little further. Skiing back to the Lodge was a major convenience, which we appreciated even more when we saw how most other accommodations relied on transport to the lifts.
We loved Breck, and we loved the Mountain Thunder Condo.

We ( a couple and a friend) stayed for nearly 2 weeks for skiing.
It is situated in a very convenient location, walking distance to the town ( through the tunnel), a free shuttle bus to anywhere and you can ski right back to the condo.
Although we didn't use, there are swimming pool and hot tab which looked very nice.
A spacious, comfortable and well equipped rooms, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
There are lots of nice restaurants on High Street, and hiring ski and boots were easy. The people were very friendly and helpful in Breckenridge.
The owner was very quick to response to our emails and she was very helpful with any questions we had.
We would definitely recommend this place!!
I would recommend staying here! This unit is very much as described; very clean and comfortable. We loved the proximity to Main St and the ability to ski-in. As we are beyond our years of schlepping gear up and down stairs, we absolutely took advantage of the free shuttle to the gondola and the base of Peak 9. The rental staff was very prompt and helpful with our requests/questions. There was one snafu with the room key card v hot tub access, but it was resolved very quickly. Be sure not to have the Mountain Thunder desk associates attempt to reprogram your key card!
This is my favorite place to stay in Breck - I've been to this condo four times (twice in the summer and twice in the winter) and it is the best. It's cozy and comfortable enough for cocooning in the winter and close enough to downtown to enjoy all it has to offer. And the rental staff is extremely accommodating and was able to help us with a last-minute change in plans. Highly recommended!
This is one of the most beautiful condos in Breckenridge. We come to Breckenridge often, and have stayed at many places. We've stayed here several times, and would come back again in a heartbeat. The owners are extremely accommodating and will respond quickly to any questions or concerns. The condo is centrally located just a few walking blocks from Main Street. In fact, we walked everywhere and only took the car out once to go to the market (which is also walking distance, but we got lazy.) The condo is spacious, and the complex was very quiet. The employees at the front desk were also very helpful. They assisted us in printing our boarding passes prior to flying home. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Breckenridge. We loved this place!
The apartment provides everything you need and more for your stay in Breckenridge. It is well taken care of and everybody at the property is very nice and accommodating. We travelled with a baby and loved that fact that we had a nice big living area where the little want to cruise around. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bathroom nice and new. The common area was nicely set and there is a whirlpool and a grill area. The only thing that needs improving is the community gas grill. It is not working properly and either needs to be fixed or replaced. All in all it is a great place that we plan to come back to!
